I haven't played Cyberpunk since launch and my experience was abysmal, but people kept telling me to give it another try so I bought this game recently when it was on sale. I was hoping to have a better experience this time around. I like to think I have a decent gaming rig, I can run games like CoD: Cold War on high settings and I haven't had performance issues on most games. Despite this, I ran the game on medium settings just to be on the safe side.

In the first half hour of the game, I had the following issues: characters' lips didn't move half the time when they spoke, I had to pause and unpause the game when they were mid-sentence to get their lips to start moving again. In the first cutscene of the game where it shows a compilation of V and Jackie doing stuff together, none of the textures were loaded in and none of the character models had any animation, they were just stiff moving around in a t-pose. In the first quest you do after the cutscene, a glitch occurred where I couldn't interact with anything so I couldn't progress with the quest. I had to reload a previous save to fix the bug.

I barely started playing the game and I already encountered 3 major bugs, the first of which will likely be a recurring issue. Now I would be willing to disregard these bugs if I was playing the game on release, but this game has been out for nearly 2 years. 2 YEARS. I know that standards have lowered in the advent of battle passes and loot boxes, but a game from a big name company being so unpolished 2 years after its release is completely unacceptable to me and it blows my mind that anyone thinks this is okay.
