This is possibly one of the most overhyped games I've ever seen. I have had it for 2 years now and just keep uninstalling it after a certain point. The voice acting is horrible, the graphics are bad, and the combat is boring. Witcher fans will rave about the combat, but it's pretty easy to grasp. Just use spells, perry, and roll. It's a janky combat system anyways, and one that is not fun for me.

I recently tried to play it again to gauge my interest in the Witcher 3, and I got that same old feeling. This game feels like unpolished junk and the voice acting and story telling are TERRIBLE.

From my limited time in the game so far, I can tell you it does something that most Early Access titles fail to do - it works!

Tripwire is a great dev and I put my faith in them. That was rewarded by this very fun and engaging game. It obviously needs some polish, but this is more like a beta/close to release game than a true alpha.

If you like Left 4 Dead, or the zombie genre in general, get this game. It has excellent gunplay, nice variety of enemies, and best of all, it's an awesome way to make friends.

If I had one complaint - it would be the maps don't scream awesomeness to me at the moment, but maybe that will change.

In it's current stage i'd give it a 7/10, it's certainly worth a buy!

Rust is an interesting concept. Garry and the team at Facepunch have done right by the community in revamping the game and really putting a ton of effort into it.

From my perspective, I think the game looks great, runs much better, and has some cool mechanics. Aside from those points, I really cannot say this is a good game. It simply requires too much time - and no matter how much time you're spending on it - someone else is spending more time than you. It's a neverending circlejerk.

You spawn with a rock and a torch and you have to build up from there. Maybe you make a small hut the first night. Let's just say you wait 2 days between the time you made that small hut and you log in again to continue your progression. Guess what? Your hut is gone and you've been killed. This doesn't just apply to new players - you constantly have to restart because there's always someone who will be on when you're offline.

Rust players will tell you "build on a rock" or "hide your base". Well yeah, that works, except you have to bascially use game breaking stuff to do the first part. People will climb huge rocks by using foundations ( a building element) and then deleting them. As for hiding, some people find cheaty ways to make their houses in a rock or use indestructable stuff to surround it with.

I would love to recommend this game, it has a lot of TLC put into it. But I can't. At its core, it has an awful community and it's impossible to step away from it for a day or two and come back. If you don't mind being attached at the hip to one game every day, then get it. Otherwise, stay away, because this game will just be a huge waste of time and source of anger.

STAY AWAY.

This game runs awuflly on my GTX 780ti and i5 4670k overclocked to 3.9ghz. Put simply, it runs like absolute garbage and should be avioded until it's fixed (which will never happen). I have never had a game run at less than 1fps, but this game does it at times, (like fights, where I see a frame every 2-5 seconds.)

Now that i've wasted 6ish hours in the game, I can truly say it's trash. And the issues that the game has are not easily fixable. The game is just a pile of burning garbage.

This game, in its current state ,is just bad. The graphics look bad, the gameplay is boring, and there is very little to do. I'd say the trailers are misleading. This is another early access game that will never be finished.

I don't get what this game is trying to be.

superb game. Great preformance, fun, multiplayer coop. Get it.

Don't starve is a good bit of fun. It's quirky, it has a great art style, and gameplay is pretty simple and fun.

Co-op is great and I've had a bit of fun with my friends on it so far.

I'd reccomend it on sale, as I don't think this is a mainstay game, but it is very interesting.
