This is an okay game by itself, tho, without some quality mods it's bland, the mods give this game life.
I got this game when it was free for a couple of days, and i didn't play it since im not into these kind of games, but my friend asked me to play this with him and i fell in love, one of the greatest strategy games out there in my opinion.
I usually post lazy reviews but this game actually made me post a decent review.
This is a MUST try game.
DLCs are not necessary, they do make the game a lot more fun tho.
You should totally buy this game whenever it's on sale.
Edit: It's free now, go and play the damn game

Combat looks more confusing than it actually is. Lots of fun.
