The game is definitely getting there. It's starting to have its own, distinct feel while still remaining similar to its predecessor.

Sub Zero feels much more polished than when I played around 6 months ago. In addition, the story is slotting together much better. The feel of isolation is much stronger than it used to be when the game had the Robin in constant communication with Sam. There are still tweaks that should happen, in order to allow better flow.

That said, the game still feels largely empty. Now, instead of being lead to everything, it feels as if there's little purpose whatsoever. Of course, that may just be beta problems.

I still don't recommend buying Sub Zero. Wait a little longer to see where it goes, but it's definitely shaping up.

I don't normally like survival games, but the underwater theme drew me in. Love the gameplay, love the exploration, love the environments. It's a bit slow in places, but it's what to expect from a game in beta. Definitely worth the buy.

...also screw Reaper Leviathans. They can all go away and never sneak up on me again.

This game is gross and I like it.

MY FRIENDS SPEND MORE TIME GOING THROUGH THEIR INVENTORIES THAN PLAYING THE ACTUAL GAME.

Replaced tank theme with Benny Hill theme. Best decision this year.
