I've never been more disappointed in a purchase. Nearly everything is a straight downgrade from the previous game. The maps aren't memorable because they're almost completely devoid of anything interesting. Terrain doesn't matter because you just wirebug over everything. Monsters aren't threatening since every moveset is more acrobatic than Devil May Cry, and if you get hit you can just wirebug away. There is no monster hunting since you can see where it is on your map immediately and just wirebug over to it. Or you get to machine-gun it to death in Rampage quests. Other monsters showing up during your fight are, instead of an emergency, a chance for you to pilot one of them in a kaijuu battle and punch the other one half to death. It has no stakes, no tension; absolutely nothing feels like it matters. It's the most Teflon game I've ever played. I had *literally* infinitely more fun going *backwards* to the pre-World games, which I hadn't played before, after a couple of days with this one.

Consider this a lesson straight from the Literature Club: Don't judge a book by its cover!
