I've seen a lot of gameplay of this game and played this on xbox gamepass (Hence the nonexistant play time here lol) and it's great, with tons of hours worth of gameplay, so I got it on Steam a while ago

So why am I setting it as not recommended?

Aside from online required for single player, update 1.6 broke all SteamDeck compatibility. Valve hasn't reflected this change annoyingly and this isn't the game's fault, but we're halfway through 2023 and this hasn't been solved. I really don't get why you'd break a game for different devices (As SteamDeck isn't the only one affected) then not bother in fixing the issue nor acknowledging it. Game devs need to stop being rushed to finish stuff quickly to then get paid peanuts, games and updates wouldn't keep on being so buggy then. An update is supposed to solve issues or add more content, not add more bugs than content it provides. At least give people the option to play a legacy version

It's such a shame I can't play this on the go, nor even play it in my SteamDeck altogether because of all this stuff, especially as this is a really good game

Luckily I do also have a really good PC and decent Wi-Fi, but so many people are gonna get this and not be able to play it when they should be able to. Not everyone has access to Wi-Fi at all times nor can afford a PC that is compatible and can run this at the same time. At least it's not PC exclusive I guess

There are far older games still being updated and No Man's Sky showed us you can turn even a falsely advertised, unplayable mess into an amazing game with updates. So I'm gonna still cling to hope

I've played the Scarlet Study fan translations on the 3DS, played it again on Switch, then I'm going for all achievements here on Steam. This is my favourite Ace Attorney game and visual novel style game, let alone one of my favourite games. If you get this as a bundle with AA Trilogy (Turnabout Collection) this is an absolute steal, if the games weren't alone really worth it already. I have nothing but love for this game and it lives rent free in my head

Tetris but on drugs

I'm recommending but VR controls don't seem to work properly with neither Oculus Rift CV1 nor Quest 2 controllers, only one controller works and the game has crashed a few times with this setup. However, using an xbox one controller instead gets rid of all the issues and VR works fine, I'm guessing since it was newly released here that it's just a compatibility issue that needs to be sorted out

The sounds help compensate for my lack of personality and monotone voice 10/10

This game awakens both my frustration at dying all the time and my bisexuality. Also CROSS-PLATFORM SAVES. 11/10

Best Elder Scrolls game 10/10

I don't agree with the battle pass idea and how tedious it is to get XP on it (But it's only cosmetics, there's no pay to win in this game) but as a Pokemon fan I have to say I love this game. The story is long and challenging (Took me 60 hours personally) and post-game there's a lot to do, though if you don't familiarise yourself with competitive strategies the post-game can be quite overwhelming.

Being an MMO it has an economy and you can buy and sell both items and tems. The game is server-based so there's no hackers ruining the experience. Competitive PvP scales your tem's SVs (Equivalent to Pokemon IVs) so you don't have to play the genetic lottery to get into competitive (Good considering egg breeding is a lot more complicated here to avoid crashing the tem market), but you still have to work on making your tems strategically viable such as adjusting their TVs (Equivalent to Pokemon EVs) and moveset.

Strategically it's very different to Pokemon because all battles are double battles and rather than PP the game has a stamina system (Stamina refills at the end of the battle and you recover some each turn, so it's much better than Nexomon's stamina system). Some moves have synergies which boost the move if your other tem has a specific type and damage isn't RNG based, so the emphasis in this game comes from using stamina effectively, having your tems compliment each other in battle and knowing when to swap them, entirely relying on strategy with no elements of luck. If you think this is a game you can cheese with a single overpowered tem, you're wrong. Also, lumas (shinies) are amazing in this game

Says I've only played 69 minutes (Nice) but I spent HOURS playing this game as a kid and it's still as great as I remember it. If you are thinking of getting this game (Or already have it unmodded), I VERY strongly suggest you get Open RCT2 with it, a free open-source mod that adds TONS of new features and quality of life improvements like scaling for newer PCs/laptops and even lets you play online multiplayer with several friends. 10/10

An amazing PS Vita game brought to Steam. I only hope Persona 5 gets ported to PC too. 10/10
