An excellent 4X game empire game, with exciting roguelite elements. As a long time Civilization player, this feels much more like Civ 4 (and Beyond the Sword) than any recent iterations. Which is fine as that was my favourite in the series. That being said, it is not Civilization and people should not expect it to be. There is more detail and more elements to consider.

Overall the concepts work together very well - orders is an excellent way to allow you to really prioritise your empire on what is important at any given time; you often feel you want/need to do more which feels very real.

There is a lot of detail. but it is laid out incredibly well and feels very immersive. Crucially the AI seems quite smart and the game does not treat the user as an idiot.
