I honestly can't believe I spent money on this game. I want my money back, and I'll get it back.
I don't even know where to begin when talking about this pile of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trash. Not only are the maps stolen; but the game is literally unplayable. You can tell when it's a stolen map if your framerate boosts up to 300 fps, the ones they made barely get 30 to 45fps.
I entered the first level, and guess what: none of the cutscenes loaded. So, great, I don't know what the ♥♥♥♥ the story is supposed to be, because everything is in the cutscenes; Guess what, the cutscenes don't work, so you are going to be really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ confused as to what the hell is going on.
The movement is so terrible, every time you look left or right, you stutter. Your aim is choppy at best. You can aim down the sights, which also stutters. (I also noticed that when I was in game, and I went to change my video settings, and the game would crash 100% of the time.)
The level designs. Oh god the level designs. Nothing connects. One minute I'm in Black Mesa, then a hospital, with no music, and no tension, with thousands of zombies spawning. If you hold down shift throughout that entire hospital level, you can get through it with absolutely no problem. Then you’re outside fighting soldiers. Then the next loading zone, It crashes like 90% of the time; and when you do get it to load, the level doesn't load properly, textures are broken, and building are see through. Nothing flows, it's just a bunch of random connected zones together, with no context, or for any reason why it should be there. The developers clearly don’t know what made the level design in the original Half-Life games so special. (From the way the levels are designed, even with the cutscenes, the levels would still feel random, and terrible.)
The dialogue is generic military stuff you’ve heard before. If you seen any movie with the military, chances are you heard this dialogue, with much worse voice acting. (Also, if you are lucky, and actually get far enough into the game, some of the soldiers repeat the same dialogue over and over again, forever.)
At the end of the day, don’t buy this game. The story seems terrible, no cutscenes, the voice acting is bad, it stutters when looking around, and has a very unstable framerate that jumps up depending on what maps they stole, it crashes, and some zones don’t even load properly.
It’s a terrible unorganized mess, that is a shameless cash crab, riding off of the Half-Life name. Don’t buy this game!
