It's Call of Duty, go into it expecting that. The guns are pretty good. They pay homage to old games, and its a fun time with buddies that turns into a sweatfest from time to time. Suspend your realism for a bit and enjoy the twitch shooter, or just don't play it.

My only regret is having but one life to give for Super Earth.

Roblox, with more PTSD and jihad.

Quality first person shooter, tight controls, and consistent at what it does. There's a reason it's a foundational e-sports game.

An absolute blast. I wish that there was a GTA with the gunplay of Max Payne. Red Dead's gunplay is similar, but still just not quite the same. There is something about the gritty over the top gunfights mixed with Max's ridiculously self-deprecating narration that just makes this game a super enjoyable masterpiece. If you enjoy good shootouts and semi-cheesy action movies, then you will enjoy this game.

Overall, I enjoyed this game. It feels decently well made and well intended. There were a couple gripes here and there about the names of things (such as magazines being called clips, and even the revolver's cylinder being called a clip.) but the disassembly is a blast, the rebuilding and repairing is fun, and the customizing and creating your own furniture for firearms is really interesting.

Disassembly / Reassembly from a game standpoint is a little janky at times. There are times where the camera kinda freaks out, as well as times where you can disassemble a part on the table, and then other times where it makes you pick the part up just to unscrew something. All and all, seems to be relatively minor things that can hopefully be buttoned up before full release.

The firing range is super cool as well, although I would like to see an actual player model of some sort, even if its just some arms and hands. Maybe some weapons inspections as well.

I certainly hope that they lovingly update and release DLC for this like they have with Car Mechanic Simulator, as I could see myself investing hours and hours into building quirky guns and repairing old war relics.

Game was / is a good time.
Story is aight, nothing recordbreaking but they clearly tried.
The ending I got was kind of lackluster. Left me hanging with a few unexplained ends.
Overall? It's worth the buy in my opinion.
New Game+ is there to keep the zombie slaying going.
