Battleborn is a lot of fun with a ton of potential, sadly it has some issues but generally it's an excellent game.

Now to address the elephant in the room, everyone seems to compare this to Overwatch, Overwatch is a great game but it's very much like TF2, you have 2 teams, you kill each other.. it's pure, simple PvP and that can be a lot of fun, Battleborn is more tactical, deciding when and how to engage, whether to buy gear, build turrets, whether your hero gets countered by another then if you should engage anyway or not.. it's very much like a mix between Borderlands and DOTA 2, easy-ish to learn and hard to master.

Lots of people have given lists of Pro's and Con's so I'll skip that side of things and keep it simple.

I bought this game around 6 months ago when I heard about it and it was difficult to play but I seen it had a ton of potential so I was happy to wait for release, sadly it seems either the developers didn't have the time and money or the skill to realize this game's potential.

The main issue with this game is a total lack of player feedback, you make tactical choices before each match but the game doesn't tell you what you did right and what you did wrong, you have a ton of stats but the game doesn't tell you what each stat does, there are a ton of heroes to play in the MOBA mode but there is almost no information about the heroes, just a basic thumbnail, whether they are a support, ADC, Jungler and whatever and whether they are Utility, Healer, Burst and such but no other information at all.

If this game gave some worthwhile feedback to the player and went a little more in depth with the heroes instead of just a name, thumbnail and the bare basic info then I could see it being really good, but unless that happens.. it's not worth buying at all.

Hopefully a developer with more experience takes the idea of this game and makes something better because a game about being a manager of a Pro gaming house and/or being a professional gamer could be awesome, sadly.. this game isn't.

TL;DR version: No depth, no player feedback, no skill involved, just RNG, not worth buying.
