Needs a lot of love but this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocks. Add better menus, a bit more stuff in the world, multiplayer, and this would probably be my favorite game of all time. I rarely play games that are just raw fun like this.

Does the game have unnecessary micro-transactions? Yeah.

Is the game poorly optimized? Yeah.

Would I still recommend it? Yeah. It's just fun. The combat is enjoyable, the party mechanics are goofy, the world feels exciting, even if it doesnt always feel like it responds to your actions appropriately. The micro-transactions are lame and shouldn't be there but...It's a single player game. I'd hardly call it pay to win when they're all entirely optional and its a single player game. There's not really any winning. Just the fun you create along your journey. And there's a lot of fun to be had. Definitely not game of the year material but I feel like i'm still absolutely going to get my moneys worth out of it
