Incredibly fun, but you really need at least 3 players to do well.

Fun, chaotic and playable both solo, with friends or with completely random strangers.
Almost every moment is absolutely hilarious and even completely new players start doing impressive maneuvers within the first 5-10 minutes.

Everything I wanted from the 3DS remake + some new characters and an extra game attached to it. I mostly care about Brave Dungeon and the other game seems to be mediocre at best, but this has everything I was hoping for. So I am satisfied.

If you are thinking about buying this I can only recommend it, a regular, fast-ish play-through by someone who has played through this game a few times already takes about 6 hours, with extra content being unlocked right after defeating the final boss (6 hour mark for me) like a new dungeon, more options, achievements, new game+, minigames and later on a complete new way to play the game with a special character.
But, if you are looking for an amazing story this game is not for you, the story is lacking and was already lacking in the original, it's not bad it's just really empty and not a lot of dialogue.

Some issues as of writing this review (in Brave Dungeon) are the translation, which has its flaws in a few places, no ability to rebind keys other than 2 controller presets, the help-display for buttons just deciding to no longer have any space between the buttons and changing the screen resolution breaking the size of window and all spacing, making me have to relaunch the game. Nothing too bad.

I have nothing to say about Dark Witch's Story:Combat.

Beautiful and at least one song for any situation. Expected nothing less from SIHanatsuka.

The developer keeps re-releasing this software for higher price tags with the same features.

Great DLC, feels natural and adds quite a bit of stuff.
Remember that a water source nearby might be a good idea tho.

Worth it.
