GOOD: fun with 2 other friends.

singleplayer is do-able but pretty annoying as is because dying even once throws the run from how much time you lose getting your runes back. and if you die during the night 1 or night 2 boss it ends the run literally (like sends you back to the roundtable hold)

BAD: if you're solo and queue matchmaking with 2 randoms there is like a 70% chance you'll get matched with a toxic duo who ignore your pings and don't ping anything for you themselves because they're sitting in a discord call. they will also insta-loot-vacuum anything that drops whether its useful for their class or not

game desperately needs duo gamemode to quarantine these people off by themselves so they stop ruining public lobbies

By neglecting the multiplayer stability issues for so long Bohemia has effectively killed any momentum this game ever had. Average daily player count is like a hundred people now, barely enough for a single server to stay populated. It's a shame too because the engine shows so much promise. Hopefully if one good thing comes out of this it's that they don't make the same mistake for the launch of Arma 4.
and by the way, the $30 pricetag is an absolute joke LOL shameless company
