Lots of grind, some pretty un-fun moments, but still love this game. Lots of fun with friends can be had and honestly those un-fun moments are part of why i put so much time into the game.

One of my favorite single player experiences, beat it a few times. Lots of play styles you can go with and the story is good.

It is worth it

Afterbirth+ great game

Love and Hate this game, uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times, but the amount i play gets shorter every time. I think I just got bored of it. Have some fun memories of it though and have definitely gotten my money's worth so I can comfortably give this a recommend. If you're looking at it, there's a good chance you already know about this game though so GL HF.

Fun game I enjoyed myself. I liked 0, thought 1 was fun (excluding combat), and think this game feels better, looks better, and adds more side dishes than 0. I wish there was more Majima, and that the story was less predictable but it's a remake of an old game and I can see why they brought it back.

Story 8/10, it's cliche but it doesn't take away all the fun in the story. I seriously hope though if they ever do anything more with the franchise they try to not make the story so linear. The world feels great and it would be nice to see more of it developed. I will say though that I was surprised Sayama lived so aye story wasn't completely obvious, happy surprise

Combat 8/10, I really liked the diversity in 0 and this game didn't feel as open in regards to combat style, not the worst thing in the world though, because with how this game looks and feels, I don't really think 0's combat (weapon power) would work here. The AI, while not nearly as bad as Kiwami 1, still feels like there we're some parts of combat that I was just waiting for the enemy instead of being able to dictate the flow of combat. I haven't unlocked every move set yet, but I wish there was an AI exhaustion meter or something, and when you wore them down they couldn't block or roll away, maybe depending on how they react to a counter tells you have much time/damage you can put into them before they go back to trying to stun spam you.

Substory/Side Quests 9/10, I really think this game is more fun when you don't have to worry about the story, which is a weird thing to say. The world, when not covered by impending doom, is really fun, cabaret always eats up time without me knowing where it went and I really wish that it was longer, and that the there were more club based substories. Clan creator, not my cup of tea yet, but I'll see how I feel when I finally get to finishing that.

All in all I would rate this game 8.5/10. I personally enjoyed it and think that you should probably play the other 2 (despite me thinking Kiwami's AI needs to be destroyed) and just see where the story takes you.

Message to SEGA, why when you're walking with Haruka does she always bump into you? Can you patch that? Also haven't played the rest of the series but it definitely feels like there is more to tell other than Kazuma Kiryu. Hope to play Kiwami # till you guys are out, then I hope you bring more into the world of your imagination.

I really enjoyed this game, for me it was one of the few single player games I could play over and over.

The story was pretty good, I personally hated the ending to one half of the story but in this series they remove all possibilities of twists by making literally everything go as poorly as possible so I guess I should have seen it coming.
( Story/Ending spoiler For Majima's ending, Makoto knew that her savior was missing an eye from it being gouged out. She sees a man with only one eye and an eyepatch. To my knowledge it isn't common to find a one eyed man. As we've seen her character grow I feel that she wouldn't let that slide.)

The gameplay I find fantastic because there are options. From abusing rush form, destroying everything with bear form, or being an abuser of shotguns, the game doesn't get stale because you have a lot of options for taking people down.

The rest of the content in the game besides the main storyline are also fairly well done. I enjoyed the business missions (although the grind sometimes was horrendous) and it adds a lot of playtime to the game.

All in all I would rate this game an 8/10. If the story line in these games didn't take a negative turn everywhere possible I would probably rate it higher but I still enjoyed this game.

It's a good game. You can see what it looks like if you can't live with that don't buy it, if you can though you're gonna sink some serious hours into this.
