I booted up Outlast 2 thinking, “Hey, I’m a grown adult, how scary can it be?”

Fast forward 20 minutes: I’m hiding in a cornfield, being hunted by a 7-foot-tall, scripture-quoting grandma wielding a scythe and a bad attitude. I’m crouched in a barrel full of questionable liquids, whispering to myself: “This is fine. Everything is fine.”

Before I played this, I had a small wee wee, no girlfriend and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.

Before I played this, I had a small wee wee, no girlfriend and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.
