I know the game is supposed to be amazing, but that's only if you can get it to work. It has some of the worst bugs and performance issues I've ever encountered in a game. I've tried everything to get it to work including trying older and the newest drivers, everything on the PC gaming wiki, and Googling around.

Some of the issues include: Black screen, crashing, freezing my entire computer, screen flashing, fps locked to 42 or 62. A lot of it probably something to do with Rockstar forcing you to use their awful social club. When I had to force close the game with task manager I noticed multiple Rockstar launchers open at a time, up to 4. I have no issue with other games I play. I'm getting a refund, sadly. Really wanted to play this game. What a shame.

Game of the year. Highly recommend you do yourself a favour and buy this game. Amazing gameplay, tons of replayability, the most incredible voice acting, art and music, it's a masterpiece. Every run is different. You won't regret buying it.

Negatives:

The main issue for me with this game is that it's using host migration, yes, peer to peer, in 2017... all sorts of lag issues going on. Disgusting.

The hitboxes are terrible, there's no hitbox in the back of the head.

Guns are really unbalanced, LMG's are terrible, only 1 out of the 3 shotguns available is good, SMG's are king even after the nerf yesterday, like in every other CoD.

Spawnpoints are a joke, I've spawned on top of a grenade or next to 3 enemies countless times.

Map design is pretty bad. Tiny, uncreative maps.

Enemy name tags need to be removed, you can see the name tag way too easily, you don't even need to actually see the enemy character a lot of the time, the name tag will give their position away.

To exit the game you have to find the, pretty hidden, return to main menu button in settings.



Some positives:

Although other people seem to be having issues, the game is optimised well for me on a 980ti and i7 6700k, 16GB ram, it runs at 100fps with no issues.

The fast paced gameplay, gun sounds, animations, vault system, customization (more at release) are all pretty good, the gameplay is fun...But because of the negatives above I can't recommend it and most likely won't buy it.

Should you buy this game? Yes, I believe so. Never doubt it.

Great story, great soundtrack, has lots of replayability, lots of side quests and hilarious dialogue from NPC's.

The best stealth game I have ever played. 10/10.
