First, let me tell you all how gorgeous this game is. If you have a computer capable of lifting the highest-possible settings on the game, then you should do just that. It's beautiful, and the developers did a fantastic job with the game's atmosphere. The lighting gives off true "vibes," and the environment speaks if you sit and listen. For the love of all art, this game did it right. My eyes can't get enough of walking through the map, and my ears act no different.

The gameplay itself is entertaining. On top of a fantastic atmosphere and engaging world, I can't get enough of the crazy stuff that can happen. Want an enormous, murderous, burning pig-monster? We got it. Want a shotgun with an axe-head on the barrel? We got it. Want a jar of wasps to chase your target? We got it! There's so much interesting things to find in the game, and it's only multiplied by the amount of ways to use those things. Each time I drop into that map expecting one thing, I'm slapped with something completely different. Personally, it's fun to watch and experience the thrill of improvisation in Hunt: Showdown. Use the crazy to win, and make the crazy to win again.

I'd recommend finding a friend, though. The community is fantastic so far, and random teammates aren't a terrible choice. I've found a few to go out persistently, too, but I'll still recommend finding someone to go in with time after time. Progressing with another together is another experience altogether, but as I said: most random-teammates can give you the same trust your own friend can. You have to depend on one-another, after all. You get more money that way. What else is a good motivator?
