Wonderful game, but it has its flaws.
Pros:

• Amazing singleplayer feel. Usually, with these milsim games multiplayer gives it the taste. But i find myself spending most of my time on the editor with tons of mods such as ACE, CUP etc.
  
• Diverse modding community. You've got everything from semi-realistic healing (tourniques, field dressing, etc.)[ACE mod] to zombies! Yes, zombies.
  
• Vehicles. You've gotta love them. You want to commit warcrimes with a UAV? Gun down enemy troops in your A10? Spy on your neighbors with the drones? You've got it.

Cons:

• Steep learning curve. I can't even describe how steep. I *call myself* a fast learner, took me 30h to say that I could understand the basics. Here's my main tips: If you're confused, use the "industry standard" control scheme and use the 4th and 5th mouse buttons for zoom in and out. Also, zooming in ≠ aiming downsights. You'll get used to it, and frankly, grow to like it. Also, don't play KOTH at the start. Play COOP.
  
• Rip GPU. No kidding. It'll eat your GTX1660Ti whatever, and you'll hardly get 50-60fps with that on *singleplayer*. The KOTH maps? Oh yeah, 20-30 fps.
  
• Get some friends. No really, you'll need them. Although it's very, very fun in singleplayer which I spend most of my titme in, its not ARMA without friends.

Conclusion: Are you determined? More importantly, can your computer (or your used-to-ness to low fps) handle it? Go for it. If you're a play-and-dump person with no determination, it'll be hard, and it'll end on you rage quitting, and, in turn, refunding.
