The game is updated monthly by the developers, Facepunch, to keep everything fresh and exciting.

Many complain of Rust as having a toxic community, but I beg to differ. Sure, it's competitive and you will die a lot. But I've met countless people from all walks of life and have made many good long lasting friends. People tend to be more genuine and loyal in this game.

In my 6K hours of Rust, I've found the best way to achieve victory in a wipe is abide by the following:
1. Always enable Rust+ app notifications.
2. The greatest defense is a good offense.
3. Have a backup plan to your backup plan.
4. Everything is temporary.
5. There is always another server.

Epic Games acquired and ruined this game with telemetry. You must now have an Epic Games account to play unless you want to click out of a popup that appears every minute or so. Scumbag company will never get my info. This is the Steam platform, not Epic Games platform, go ♥♥♥♥ yourselves.
