Core concept and gameplay is okay. Epic Games and their introduction into Rocket League has brought item prices to an outlandish and borderline extortion level.

F*** Epic Games!

Epic Games is doing what they can to squeeze whatever money they can from the player base of Rocket League that has been here all these years since release, which is unusual for a game to have such a strong player base for such an amount of time. Epic Games has shown with the removal of a "Crate and key" system and the introduction of a "blueprints and credit" system with such ridiculous prices that only prove that they bought the developers of Rocket League, Psyonix, to see what they can charge to the loyal player base and get away with.

tl;dr
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! Epic Games is in the beginning stages of a process of monetizing Rocket League to a point where in the future it will be aggravatingly and annoyingly monetized. I am no longer giving any money to this game and neither should you! What the game is turning into is not the same game that I liked in the beginning and fell more in love with as Psyonix listened to the community before the purchase by Epic Games.
