Absolutely terrible and unplayable experience for returning players (about 60 hours on record a decade ago). I gave it a solid hour of trying, even read the returning player guide and I gave up. I got tempted by the 1999 content, played the demo, it was full of bugs. It's a shame because I really wanted to enjoy the game again. Maybe I'll try it some other time.

Use RuneLite launcher instead, especially if you are a first timer. Makes the game look and run better, with plenty of quality of life and UX tweaks.

Good campaign, slightly improved MP since MW2, zombies were boring asf.

Get it on sale if you're interested in the story.

So far the best Call of Duty campaign.

But it's been a rocky start. Shaders didn't want to preload at all, and it took like 15 minutes to fix the low FPS. Anti-aliasing appeared to be turned off, but in fact it's been set on maximum.

Great game with catchy gameplay loop.

My first time was very confusing as there's too much content thrown at you, but it's surprisingly easy to navigate through it in a couple of minutes (much better than Tarkov or Hunt). Just.. don't worry about it for now and play a few matches before you explore the main menu, find out if you vibe with the gameplay in the first place.

Don't underestimate the quests, they're great.

Fighter and ranger are the most solid options to start with and figure out how to play the game. Keep your class fantasies on a leash for now.

80 hours played and just now I'm about to buy the premium version. I don't need it, I just wanna try other classes (you can only have one character as a F2P).

Ignore the recent reviews, they're just butthurt fanboys upset about balance patches.
