Early Access Review
As most early access games, there is a lot of jank. There are teleporting zombies, the melee combat feels rough and sometimes even unresponsive, some other players are just floating heads, among other things, and that makes an already very hard game more unforgiving, so I understand the frustration from some of the reviews. But I find the dramatic "These devs simply can't be trusted! Such a scam!!" type reviews to clearly just be coming from a place of "a game bug killed me and I died, so I'm extra mad and never finished the actual objective" and less from a place of giving the game an actual chance.

Came in with 3 friends. One died on the way in, he turned into a zombie, we shat our pants, and it was just down to two of us. On our way to the objective we met someone else and brawled our way to the extraction objective where a group of people were waiting for us and cheering us on to get there, and then all of us worked hard as hell to extract. It was so intense, and as one review mentioned, a display of the indomitable human spirit, which is a uniquely touching experience to see all these people working together and helping each-other in a video game that just released.

It needs time to cook. But brother, let them cook. Give them time. I so hope that regardless of the rough launch, Torn Banner keeps at it, because this game has a strong, solid, impressive foundation. The price is steep for what we get, I understand that completely, but the experience of my first game has made it worth it for me, and I so hope those of you who decide to give this game a chance get to experience this game the way I did. Be patient, and encourage the devs to continue fixing this game and making it better instead of tearing them down.

Tribes of Midgard is one of those games that is relatively unassuming when you first get it, but when you get into the game you're blown away. This is one of those games that you can't do everything in one run, and keeps you coming back for more, and the additional content being added per season keeps you interested even if you've managed to complete everything. A great game to play with friends, to work together in a battle against time and the darkness. 10/10, love this game to death, and I'm excited to see more of it!

Early Access Review
This game has completely nailed what horror should be and it's only early access.

No cheap jumpscares, just real unsettling and terrifying events.

All I can suggest for the devs is to branch out with the models for the "ghosts". A lot of them are sort of generic, and once you see their details they tend to stop being scary. One of the models bugged during my game, the child one, and it stretched the neck out way longer and made the face small and featureless. That gave me a REAL scare, and when compared to the actual model I wanted that grossly disfigured one because it was so much scarier. Think of the illustrations used in "scary stories to tell in the dark" for good inspiration.
Still love the game! Far too scary for me to play alone haha

Just like We Were Here, We Were Here Too is absolutely incredible. The puzzles seem much tougher but just as fun, and there is definitely more of a horror aspect. Playing with a buddy or a stranger provide two completely different experiences and both are great. Excited to see what comes next :D

One of my all time favorite games
I've got a clean slate to talk about what has been one of my absolute favorite games.
I am not an easy person to please. I nitpick minor issues, get easily frustrated with bad controls, and lose interest in storylines quickly. I like things to have an aspect to them that is different, interesting, and ultimately holds my attention for longer than a few hours.
We Were Here was one of those games.
A free to play co-op, you and your partner are strangers communicating over a walkie-talkie, using real words. The goal is for one side, the librarian side of things, to lead the adventurer side through the puzzles that they will face in the future. The puzzles get increasingly tough, and there is a certain cleverness to each puzzle that makes it so unique.
And the best part? Horror.
I don't mean that cheap, jump-scare horror. I love a good jump-scare once in a while, but nothing terrifies a player more than horror games that focus on the ambiance. There is only one aspect of We Were Here that is something that is physically scary, but if you do the puzzle right you won't have any encounters with him.
There are a series of different obstacles and traps that each have their own different ways of completion, and each proved to be incredibly entertaining and had me begging for more. Playing with strangers or playing with friends, you earn a very quick trust in the sense that the reliance on your partner doing one end or the other correct can cost you your life. The game was just a wonderful mix of mysterious that I would love to see more of. Lucky for me, We Were Here Too, the story of the two travelers who we didn't follow on the journey, start in a new set of puzzles that are going to have a pretty noticeable touch of horror in them. If you ever are looking for a short-ish but incredible stranger experience, We Were Here is the right game.
My hopes are high for the next game.
