I adore this game. It's an absolute gem in the farming sim genre. If you're on the fence, give it a shot. Its a bit grindy at the end but the mechanics are so endearing and being able to watch your tribe grow is so rewarding.

Edit 2 18/06/23: Ive been playing this game for many years, since the original alpha for the game and I do truly love it. However, recently, the dev has shifted his views from the game to money making and punishing players who exploit faults in his system that he knew could occur (resetting them back 6 months of progress in an IDLE game.)

All of his bundle prices have gone up substantially (from 15 to 25 in a short period of time) and he is consistently adding one use rng items to the premium currency store. Especially with the new update containing literal loot boxes for tiny odds of getting the most powerful things in the game at the moment.

If you want to play the game casually, I highly suggest it but do not buy premium currency as he has gone from being 'one of the people' into every other 'free' game out there.

Um, so I like it.

Let me start off by saying, I bought this game for multiple different people after getting it in Humble Choice.

This game breathes life into the survival/grind genre (Rust, Ark ect.) Rust is a classic but it’s technological progress is very stunted. You wake up on a beach, find guns, kill people and ruin their dreams.
You can have that in this too! (Or not because the PVE servers are great, especially the community.) To get to that point though, you need to slaughter many turtles, kill a few giant scorpions and make some friends along the way.

Is this game early access? Yes. Does it have more depth than Rust in it’s current state? Yes. There’s a modding community that is assisted by the devs. You can tell this game was/is a labour of love. The devs are very happy to personally help people with programming mods to helping them with server confígs.

And most importantly, the devs CARE about what the player base would like to see from the game. I’ve heard there’s a big update coming with bosses which could bring even more of a community into the PVE servers.

If you’re looking for a new game to try out, check this out. It has a demo. If you want to find a group to play with, join the official discord. It made me enjoy this genre again.

I'll be the first to say, if I saw this game on sale; I probably wouldn't buy it just by looking through the description. However this game is one of the most fun games I've played in a good while.

If you want something that will get you thinking and laughing at the ridiculous conversations in this, this is definately for you.

Poured water on a snail. Went from 'serene' to 'wet'.

20/10 would water snail again.

It was a very good game. Not extreamly hard, but challenging. I would recomend it to someone who really like TD games.
