Got this game for my first day of school back in 2006 and I still adore it. So glad to have a remastered version on Steam - especially one that works so well. It was such a nice surprise to see it release again.

Well worth the price of 12 bucks, even more worth it when it's on sale.

Games works fine for me, tabbing out might crash it so fullscreen-window is the way to go. If you have troubles, check a Steam guide for the game.

Save as much as you can, seriously, saves can break here and there and the autosave is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's not as bad as Stalker but you still gotta save often.

I just adore this game, I have always played it when I was a kid. The game still holds up nicely and it took me roughly 70 hours to finish it completely, doing most side quests and exploring most areas of the game.

The characters all feel unique and there is a lot of depth for each of them too, especially if you create your own and skill it the way you like.

Pretty much all areas of the game feel unique and just look great with lots of various details. I never felt uncomfortable or truly annoyed by an area - but they might be a little tedious or boring here and there.

The quests are fun to do - even the side quests. Puzzles are sprinkled in here and there and the game isn't easy too! It definitely needs some tactic and planning if you don't cheese every encounter.

The combat is round-based and every attack, spell, potion or trap has different values, timers and whatever so you kind of have to get into the whole groove to really find out what works best. The camera can be a little disorienting and the AI sometimes gets stuck but it's nothing to really cry about.

The voice-acting (especially in German) is great and features a lot of known actors. My favorite is the WoW-song guy that you'll meet early in the game. Die Horde rennt, remember that from 2006?

The game is well-worth the 10 bucks and even more worth the 2 on sale. There is so much to explore and do in this game, it's so fun even so many years after release. I can't recommend it enough if you enjoy DnD-esque RPGs.

The game is quite fun but having to buy DLCs to even add AI in multiplayer matches is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Speaking of AI, it's absolutely braindead. They pose no challenge and get steamrolled easily. The don't even buy artillery and they place their tanks so badly that they usually charge you directly and you can easily take them out. Once you gave them a whooping, they just completely stop sending units altogether, making you wait till the game is over.

Buy on sale and only if you really enjoy piss-easy AI.

The DLCs of this game are just straight up scammy. It's simple factions with lacking content for a lot of money. Wait for a sale to buy it.

The AI, both friendly and enemy, is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and not a threat at all. You can easily steamroll them in COOP even on the hardest difficulty.

The first person camera is a nice idea, it's just so bad for infantry. It's okay with vehicles but it's still very lackluster.

There is no voice acting for the DLC factions which is straight up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Buy on sale and only if you really enjoy steamrolling AI. Or play online and get steamrolled.

Early Access Review
A mix between Half Life 1 and 7 Days To Die which works perfectly. Progress is nice and rewarding with interesting puzzles sprinkled in. Enemies are interesting and aren't pushovers - the story and different dimensions add a lot of replayability too! The base building is one of the highlights of this game too, having a couple detailed mechanics which really spice it up.

The whole facility has a lot of different regions and rooms which eventually get connected too so it never feels annoying to travel either!

All in all, a great game and even greater with friends.

Very well-done game and great remake! Multiplayer works like a charm and the DLCs are, even if they are short, fun! Totally recommended, gameplay, graphics and features can rival Half Life Alex.

This game doesn't work in the multiplayer. If you try to reload your gun with a button, it breaks the unit and you can't reload or shoot anymore. The overall performance in the multiplayer is very choppy too...

Quite boring and repetitive, feels like Rust with more DayZ-esque features.

Most big updates are sold as DLC which cost like 20-30$ each.

The weather is really well done, actually being able to destroy your thatch house and looking nice too! Other than that there isn't really much to talk about. I do like the killcam when I trickshot a bunny with my stone throwing knife though.

Get it on sale, it feels very early access but it has some features that benefit it. It's just very bland.

I can't recommend it - the DLCs just kill it for me.

Gameplay is alright but the story really isn't great. It doesn't make much sense and there seems to be no real effort to actually make it interesting unfortunately.

The game is VERY grindy, you have to go through various regions with various ressources, blueprints, levels and rarities so you can get the best stuff.

Enemies are bullet sponges but they are rarely a threat. Only the bigger enemies actually do damage but they also tank like hell.

Base building is very fun, probably enjoyed that part a lot especially when you can build a little village with your friends BUT there is no way to transfer servers so far! So if you played a lot on one server, enjoy doing everything all over again on a new character to play with your friends.

Progress does wipe your progress but your unlocked items usually stay. But all the stuff you grinded for like weapons, armor, levels, etc. will get wiped. It's sort of like a non-blueprint RUST wipe.

It also has a subscription for a couple QOL features as well as an ingame shop, battlepass and all that ♥♥♥♥. If you played Asian MMOs or shooters before, it's very similar but by far not the worst. It's similar to COD nowadays.

An absolute buggy mess that plays like the inbred child of Far Cry 3 and Fallout 4 with the amount of bases, outposts and settlements you have to protect and capture. The gunplay is godawful and this game easily breaks, forcing you to reload older saves and pray to god to even finish the game.

I even installed mods to mellow out the negatives but I still can't finish the game because some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ zombie is stuck inside the Yantar bunker, making it impossible to progress the story but at this point I've seen enough and I am too tired to keep playing this game. Stick to Shadow of Chernobyl or Call of Pripyat to not ruin your fun, Clear Sky is a filler anyway.
