More along the lines of a traditional Bethesda game.

A fun hack and slash with legitimately difficult bosses, and a TON of lore from the "Girl Genius" comic series. Includes unlockable copies of those comics as a bonus!

I hadn't played the original, but I have played System Shock 2, and am familiar with games from System Shock 1's era. This is an excellent recreation of games from that era, with some but not all of the rough edges filed off (and I believe that was entirely deliberate). The only rough edge I would have liked a bit smoother is the map; making sure that all symbols on the map were in the legend would be great, and allowing the user to make labeled notes would be even better, without changing it into the handholding experience that modern games have that the developers were trying to avoid.

Overall a good game, but some of the separate systems could use more integration.

It used to be every game ever made, but now it is no game.

I've played all of the Creeper World games, and this keeps up the excellent tradition, and the tradition of excellence.
