I recently played some vanilla again. What a world of difference. Simply said, it's better. Leagues better. What this mod has turned the combat into is an abomination of what vanilla is. Now to each their own, but perhaps the devs have gotten a little carried away, and perhaps this will make them realize it. I understand there are certain things or playstyles in vanilla that are too OP for this mod. But we've already moved way past any of that, as apart from the core mechanics of Bannerlord, this mod changed pretty much everything. Every weapon. Every armor. Every mechanic. And again, not for the better, at least imo.
