Always start with the negatives:

1) The survivors are not differentiated, unlike the killers. Each survivor gets their own perks, which are then unlockable for all other survivors (which is a good thing), but, once you reach a point of play where you've unlocked the perks for each survivor: it becomes just about which outfits you pick to make it harder for your favorite survivor to be seen. That's it. Also, survivors don't really have a wide variety of gameplay options.

2) Until you've PLAYED each killer (or spent a lot of time reading about them), it can be very frustrating to understand what is happening, as a survivor player. You'll be constantly scratching your head wondering. "what does this monster do?"

Okay, good stuff time:

1) Super fast to get into games, never wait more than a few minutes.
2) Games don't take terribly long, but, are long enough to feel like you had a heart-pumping rollercoaster ride.
3) The game really is heart pumping. The ambiance of sound and visual aesthetic leaves you in anticipation whenever that killer is around the corner
4) The gameplay differences between killers (can't turn their heads, can see fast movement trails, can break stuff) and survivors (can swivel the camera, can see where the killer is looking, can work as a team) is profound and a lot of fun.
5) The lack of in-game communication cues is actually a good thing. No excessive emoting (only two emotes) allows for extremely specific responses.
6) LOTS of survivors and killers to unlock (which can be unlocked using solely in-game-earned currency) means plenty of hours of fun.
