I've been following the game since the beginning and have seen just about all the ups and downs. In the course of the last few years, a lot has changed, especially in a positive way.
Now it is one of my favorite games, there is a wide variety of killers, perks, maps, playstyles, etc. which makes for a lot of variety. Admittedly, there are some things that are still a bit unbalanced and sometimes a few bugs that are not so common.
There are also regular updates and in the year still at least 4 killer & survivor with extra maps come into the game or already existing maps are updated and get a graphics upgrade. There are also some licensed survivors from other franchises like Resident Evil or Silent Hill.
The developers are doing a lot of things right :D
