Bouncers is another piece of evidence that the Steam store is heavily undermoderated. The game offers absolutely no content, it'd be an insult to actual platformers to call it as such. I bought it both because I had a coupon for it and because it reminded me of the 17-year-old mobile game Bounce by Nokia; but of course, Bouncers provides nowhere near as much fun, considering it's one static level. It took me literally 5 minutes to complete it.

The 38 current descriptionless achievements are seemingly unlocked by reaching higher scores and some random magic.

Furthermore, it is affected by screen refresh rates. Any rates above 60 Hz will render the game unplayable as the ball won't bounce high enough to reach the next platform. Not like it would be worth fixing.

Conclusion: Only buy it if you have a coupon and want to boost your account game count.

SiNKR is a decent little puzzle game.

60 different levels build upon each other to introduce and make use of new elements to solve a puzzle. The player is being familiarized with these new elements in short tutorialesque introductory levels. There is no help to the game per se, instead it focuses on trial and error to get the player to come up with ideas, which for its size works well.

Unfortunately, even though 60 levels may sound like a lot, you can expect an average play time between one and two hours. Levels do scale in difficulty, but personally the longest I had to spend on a single puzzle was around ten minutes. Furthermore, SiNKR doesn't offer much replayability, as there is no incentive to play the same levels again.

Overall, for 0.99 EUR SiNKR is a decent way to spend an hour or two exercising your brain. It might be improved with expansions such as Steam workshop integration, although for its size the usefulness of this idea remains debatable.

I probably should wait until I have completed the game, but I just don't want to wait!

Basically, you know a game is great when failing only makes you excited to try again!

Thumper with its amazing soundtrack, surreal and unique art style and challenging gameplay does exactly that. The concept isn't anything new, but Thumper takes an approach to it that I personally haven't seen before. Levels get noticeably more difficult as you progress through the game, but that doesn't mean that not everybody can complete it. The game offers a variety of playstyles, ranging from the perfectionist who wants to hit every perfect turn to the casual gamer who enjoys getting emerged in this virtual world.

The price tag may be seen as a bit too high, so I recommend maybe waiting for a sale. But if you have the money to spare, this game will offer you an experience you otherwise would probably only be able to get illegally!
