This was one of the first games I ever played on my original xbox when I was 5 years old. I loved it then, but does it still stand the test of time with a fresh coat of paint?

- Yes, 10/10. 100% completed in 11 hours. For $9.98, I will take that ♥♥♥♥ all day!

The campaign was legitimately 4 hours. Story and action pieces remind me of a call of duty campaign. There is an FOV changer in the steam guides that you can download (highly recommend).

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway is the continuation of the Brothers In Arms series following the events that took place in Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood.

If you haven't played this series, I would like to say: It is not the normal run and gun WW2 shooter. Brothers in Arms has a stellar squad command system, where you as the player are responsible for moving your teams (firing team, assault team, etc). Additionally, the game uses realistic maneuvers such as flanking your enemy with one team, while the other team is laying down suppressing fire.

The improvements compared to the previous games are mass. The squad control component of the game sees some great additions in this title. For example, you are able to control MG teams and bazooka teams in additional to your normal firing and assault teams. Also, objectively, the game looks absolutely gorgeous in comparison to the previous titles in series. Similarly, the AI squad characters are a lot smarter in this game compared to the other games (Dont @ me).

The gun play has increased significantly. The guns are still not accurate like the previous games, but they are not absolutely useful as they felt in the two previous games. This is mostly attributable to the improvements in technology at the time of the game's development. However, I will say that the key binding by default are kind of disgusting, but after a while, they do get more comfortable. I would recommend editing your binds to whatever feels most comfortable to you.

OH! And there is now a slow motion affect sometimes when you get a one shot headshot on an enemy or if you get a few enemies with a grenade. It is pretty cool, but sometimes it can get annoying when you are in the thick of it, and you have to slow down to watch the brains fly out of a german soldier's head.

The game's story continues right after the events of the first two games. Now, Matt Baker and his squad drop into occupied Holland during Operation: Market Garden. The story is packed with emotional scenes and a really bizarre conspiracy of Matt's silver engraved pistol that was given to him by his father. Additionally, a lot of the major plot pieces within the game are connected to past events from the previous games. With this, I would strongly recommend playing those games before playing this one. The cut scenes in this game are pretty great too. They really add to the character development.

Speaking of character development, I think that is one of the biggest strength of series. The developers of this title really put time into making relatable characters in order for the player to get engulfed by the series.

If you are a fan of WW2 shooters, I would definitely recommend this title for you. Furthermore, I would also recommend buying it during it a steam sale. I believe there is typically a bundle of all the games for under $15.

It is a WW2 shooter that stands out from the saturated market because it adds a specific mechanic that many games simply cannot replicate.

Although it is not an extremely long game, Limbo is truly an amazing title. The art style is unique and creepy, and with the combination of the game's music, it makes it an enjoyable experience. The puzzles are not extremely challenging, but some at the end of the game might cause a little bit of frustration. The ending of this game will make you scratch your head, but there are YouTube videos that try to explain the meaning of this game.

Overall, this is a great title for a long weekend or a rainy day. Although I do recommend the game at full price, I think it is the best to wait to buy it during a sale. It drops down to the $1-$2.50 range.

Hope this helped.
