How do you manage to mess up a game this badly?

HOW?

I think if done right this has the potential to be GOTY

Cannot wait for the full thing, treating us to this demo is so cool of the devs/publishers..

I can already tell this is going to be a breath of fresh air.

Look, this game has mixed reviews, some of which are based off of the prices of DLC items you can get in the game easily. OTHER PEOPLE DIDN'T FINISH THE ACTUAL GAME

I'll tell you why this is the case, because some suit at CAPCOM thinks microtransactions are good so the devs put them in, but make them practically worthless on purpose. They are there for the sake of being there, don't buy them who cares.

What you should buy, is the game itself. DD2 is an adventure that feels fun, the different classes are interesting and the pawns never shut up.

Also it actually has a story compared to the first game, the story isn't the best but you don't care about that, you care about beating up dragons with your big sword this game lets you do that and the combat is fluid as hell.

8/10 overall, but the combat is 10/10. Highly recommend.

TLDR: Ignore the DLC stuff, get the game, combat fun.

Punkduck's review of the game really highlights how this game is an analogy of how this game's story is better than one thought, its an analogy of the state of the gaming industry, and the suits at capcom rejecting Dragon's dogma 1 in favour of monster hunter initially, or remakes of games.

This game is both a remake of DD1, a sequel to it, and yet neither. This game is simply a masterpiece.

With context of the story of how this game, and DD1 came to be. I can no longer give this an 8/10.

Its 10/10. Actual masterpiece if you want context, see the video link I put above.

In a sea of bad games that came out this year, Space Marine 2 is not one of them.

Good launch, excellent combat that keeps you engaged, campaign is good whether you know 40k lore or not because if you don't it makes you want to look up relevant stuff to do with space marines. Enemies give you enough variety to keep you on your toes and the game forces you to keep a decent mix between melee and shooting.

If you want a game which is just focused on immersing you within its world and subtly encourages you to know more about it, without throwing modern day politics into it, and hopefully refuses to do so then this is the game for you. Singleplayer or Multiplayer.

Also the year one battle plan looks really promising.

9/10 game.

Man...

This game is incredible, one of the best experiences I've had in recent years, the server's aren't always full - just at peak times and the developers are working tirelessly to fix it. They didn't expect this kind of response this game.

There just need to be some improvements to accommodate the player base as a whole, and smooth out some texturing issues with dead hell diver bodies.

If you get beheaded, your neck will still stretch to attach to the body.

Regardless, I cannot recommend this game enough. Its the most immersive multiplayer shooter I've played in years.

Edit:

At least I did.

Sony have now decided mandatory account linking is a thing, you may wonder why this is a thing? Its so they can more easily ban people from the game which most likely means they're going to try inserting real-life political biases into the game at a later date (Based off of what the community manager said) and ban those who disagree with said political biases. It also means they want data from steam users and guarantees the game will never come to Xbox.

Sony want a monopoly, I will not be giving it to them. The developers keep buffing enemies to stupid degrees and make the game too hard.

Yes helldivers 1 was difficult, but the state Helldivers 2 was released in appealed to the masses, and the devs are alienating the community by changing the state of the game after release.

"A game made for everyone is a game for no one" Well, if this continues no one will be playing it.

Screw you Sony.

According to some, buying and playing this game makes you a transphobe, an anti-semite and probably some other things.

I recommend it. Fun game

Deep Rock Galactic.

Where do I begin, well how about "It is one of the best games I've ever played."

You buy it once, that's it you never have to spend money on this game again, everything in it is included in the price you originally pay for it. The only DLCs this game has is cosmetics, and those at the end of the day are only there to support the developers. You have way more skins in the actual game, regardless of that fact I personally recommend buying those packs anyway because these developers deserve it.

I find it ironic that a game about bad business practices has one of the best companies making it, in a world of other companies exploiting people for money.

This game is a masterpiece, the developers listen to the community constantly, doing what is best for the game, to make it the best experience possible. The community itself is one of the best in any game ever.

Game is rich in content, from the area you lobby up with people (The Space Rig) to the missions themselves, the game changes with each season too.

Worth every penny.

10/10 rock and stone.

This game, simply put, is f*cking terrifying and an amazing horror experience to boot, one of the best ones I've ever played, if you want to be spooked out of your mind trying to find out where a ghost is and what type of ghost it is while there's a risk at any moment the ghost could get pissed off at you and start hunting you because your friend is screaming its name like a moron, this is the game for you.

Even when you know all the mechanics on how the ghosts work - the game still scares you to hell and that is why it's good. Why does it do that? Play it and find out, I can't put it into words.
