Possibly the goat hack and slash game.

Phenomenal gameplay and soundtrack.

The port has some issues with natively rendering higher resolutions. Check PC Gaming Wiki for an easy fix.

Oxygen Not Included is this amazing cross between materials engineering and city builders. It has ended up being one of my favorite simulation and building games of all time.

If you enjoy games like Factorio, Rimworld, and Dwarf Fortress then you will enjoy this.

I highly recommend watching some guide and let's play videos prior to starting this game. This game is as deep as an ocean, and you could potentially get lost.

Some youtubers I recommend:
Francis John (best guide videos)
Tony Advanced ONI
Skye Storme (has a great let's play designed for beginners)

Great game to play with a group of friends, though not for everyone due to the hardcore and punishing nature.

Facepunch has been adding meaningful updates to the game for years without cost to the customer. The game is in a great state currently, and will only continue to improve.

Grab a couple buddies, a couple beers, and start whacking on some trees.

Arbitrarily removing modding from your game is more of a negative than a positive every time.

Classic action RPG that meets, and exceeds, the hype.

What a surreal experience.

Year Walk can essentially be described as a classic adventure game played in first peson. You move around the forest as you go on your 'Year Walk' and slowly piece together the puzzles and obscure story. It won the iOS GOTY award last year from many publications and I can easily see why it deserves the accolades.

Year Walk is heavily based on Finnish Swedish folklore and has an amazing art style. You will run into all kinds of creepy demons throughout your adventure. The game does have a few jump scares, but, overall, is more unsettling than scary.
I would mention that I found the atmosphere quite breathtaking. The mood is set by the oppressive musical backdrop that never distracts as you crunch your way through the snow of the forest.

The puzzles are where I really dove into the game. I assembled a full piece of paper covered with drawings, notes, and clues over the course of my travels. There is an in-game map, encyclopedia, and hint system to help you through the game and learn about the Swedish background.

The game is quite short, your first play through should take you about forty five minutes to an hour and a half depending on how quickly things click for you. Multiple play through are encouraged and, in fact, half of the story and the true ending are hidden away in subsequent play. The method of unlocking that ending and reading through the story is quite the ride.

It is unfortunate as the game has been looked over on Steam entirely. Possibly due to the stream of trash that has been coming down as part of Valve's policies lately. I hope that it gets some more attention going forward as it is a great title.

Lets get the bad stuff out of the way first. Out of the box, the game only renders at 720p, then upscales and has prety poor mouse and keyboard controls.
Both of these were actually fixed by modders either right after release or shortly before. The game does look amazing with downsampling, SSAO, and SSMA after the Durante fix. And from what I hear the mouse patch is great, though I use a controller which works perfectly.

With that out of the way, the game actually runs really well and plays even better. Already one of my favorite games of all time, with serious replayability. The game is incredibly deep and has a great multiplayer online system for co-op and pvp. I get a constant 30 fps as well, which rarely dips and only about a 40-60% gpu usage even with the higher fidelity settings.

I'm a first time player, but the new content was some of the best in the game. Definitley a great pickup.

Great game. Well balanced, well optimized, arguably one of the best MOBAs around.

This game does have one of the highest learning curves for any game out there, the environment makes it incredibly difficult for new players. My suggestion would be to play 10-20 hours of bot games, learning the ins and outs before you queue up for matchmaking. Start with Sven, Lich, Dazzle, Drow, and Skeleton King, they are some of the easier characters to figure out.

Great graphics, great gameplay, great story. Pick it up cheap, and play this game. A little unoptimized and slows way down in the middle, but otherwise a great shooter.
