As someone who has played the game for around 5 thousand hours, I can't recommend anything other than to NOT PLAY THIS GAME .. for the love of god how do i quit? Please send help.

But if you want a serious review, get ready for a read:

I have played this game for such a long time and the time investment that it takes to get an account to a point where you can actually enjoy some of the real content that this game has to offer is massive. So truly, if you don't want to sink a few hundred hours into the game before you can enjoy the real content, this game really isn't what i would suggest.

There is no other game that has given me a constant drive to improve and become better at a game. The skill ceiling is massive when you get to the end game PVM and challenges so if you want to really challenge yourself and your abilities this is a great game to do so.

The standard Pros and Cons though..

PROS:

CONS:

• Extremely Long Intro to Content
  
• 98% of the Content is locked behind Membership Paywall
  
• Not new player friendly (not a lot of direction)
  
• Jagex has atrocious customer support
  
• Bots farming gold for RWT
  
• Blowpipe is getting nerfed
  
• Default Client Sucks

The lists can get much longer, but if you want my full suggestion list and recommendations. I recommend watching some new player guides, reading the Old School Runescape wiki, and getting your quests done. There is so much content on YouTube from Veteran OSRS players and those things will help you immensely. First starting off in OSRS you will find yourself lost and confused, and the lack of direction is a con and a pro all in one. Watch those guides, set yourself some goals, explore and learn.
