From industry pariah to the gold-standard of comebacks, this game has become what it was promised. Every free update provided adds more content that is amazing. Highly recommend you get this game if you like base building and space exploration.

Very good game. Norse minecraft is one way many have described it. That is not being hyperbolic. There is lore, skill progression, crafting, and the price is absolutely worth fantastic for what you get out of this game.

It's still in Early Access, but Larian Studios is doing a great job of providing regular updates that are showing improvements.

By far one of my all time favorite games and one of the few that brought real tears to my eyes. The art and story are amazing. The gameplay is really well done.

Update 2016: Since my original review this game has made amazing updates consistently and planned updates are making this game look and play even better. I can't recommend this game, an alpha game, enough if you need to get your zombie survival fix.

If you like Minecraft and enjoy the concept offered by DayZ and Rust, then you'll love this game. I wasn't sure about getting this game at first, but after reviewing some Lets Play videos I knew this would be a game I would love. It is in Alpha so be prepared for some bugs, but what bugs there are don't take away from the gameplay - at least it hasn't for me. Also the price is a bit high for early access to an Alpha, but I think it's worth helping out a startup.
