It's an okay game right now, why is it an okay game?

There are many issue such as moderation from the home chat, people leaving in the middle of a rank (merit) game and unmerited game, no ping from allies and enemies at the scoreboard, no different operator load-out (as in two different operator can have the same load-out while wanting them to be different).

But do love how balance the games are and it doesn't feel like a unwinnable game, and the xp system for guns are very well thoughtout. Keep it up Dev, I can see this being a great game when most of the problem is fix.

Introduction
In order to update this review whenever there is an update or other changes that will have a favourable or negative impact on it, I am currently generating it based on how the game is now.

8 of August 2023

The Game
The combat and interactivity in Baldur's Gate 3 are fantastic, especially when it comes to decision-making and story progression. According to Larian Studios, the game does not now include any microtransactions and never will.

Problems?
The first (1) and second (2) Acts of Baldur's Gate 3 are quite highly optimised, but with the third (3) Act, optimisation deteriorates, thus expect numerous frame drops. Additionally, the game will be taxing if you intend to play with a 4K monitor.

Other than that, I have to mention that the creator creation is still quite constrained. This is because there are only a few available faces that you can't customise and a very small number of bodies, along with some other "naughty stuff" that you can't change much more of.

Side Notes

  1. The camera angle is a bit awkward and you can’t change the height or depth that well.

  2. Quest are not Act bound.

  3. Side Quest characters will die off screen.

Conclusion
Baldur's Gate 3 is the ideal game if you just want to have fun. But I'm sorry to inform that if you're expecting a Dungeon and Dragon (DnD) with options and limitless possibilities, you're looking at Baldur's Gate 3 way too closely. The range of games is relatively constrained, and the rules are overly complicated. So just take it all in and don't judge.

The Game
Rainbow 6 Siege is just sheer absurdity that unfolds during each match. Imagine this: (happen to me) You're silently creeping towards the objective, your heart pounding with anticipation, and just as you're about to breach the room, your teammate decides to throw a grenade at their own feet for "strategic purposes." Suddenly, chaos erupts, and you find yourself giggling uncontrollably as the walls come crumbling down around you.

Great things about R6:
  1. Very controllable gun patterns
  2. Fluid Movement
  3. Great skill ceiling

Problems?
Newcomers to the game might find themselves overwhelmed by a steep learning curve and complexity of the game especially with the amount of Operators and amount of maps.

However
When anyone tries and really enjoys the game and wants to further improve, than this game starts to show it’s true colour and shines; being able to outperform and out think your opponent shows the mastery of your gameplay.

Conclusion
In my personal opinion I feel like this game shines the most with friends playing as it is a great and competitive game for those who are willing to learn and enjoy and develop a understanding beyond of what is necessary.

The Game At Causal Level
The game at the base level is really great for casual level and having fun with friends escpcailly when you have a good teammate. Given that the game has an MMR system for unranked and ranked, sometimes when you lose a lot around till the point where your kda reach less than 1 kda you will meet people who just started, however when you get around 1 or 2 kda even in unranked the skill group gets harder as there might be former predetor or diamonds against you or with you.

The Game At Compativite Level
At this level, anyone will be attempting to obtain the predator or a high rank in general, but the chances will be stacked against any solitary player because to the frequent back and forth of achieving a rank every season. As the game evolved, so did the problem, as DDOSing or RMT Boosting Services became overwhelming to newer players or general players, and the growing pains of crossplay ruining general integrity of the game.

The Pro
  • Movement and aiming are excellent
  • Characters are fun to use and learn
  • Skins and Cosmetics look nice

The Con
  • Terrible servers causing lag
  • Blatant Cheaters
  • Ranked system is terrible and low incentive
  • Ranked MMR effect you unranked experience
  • Audio issues
  • Hard see characters

Conclusion
Casuals will like the game at its most basic level. After spending a significant amount of time playing the game, you will learn that the game has numerous core flaws and that many elements are beyond your control. The game might be good, but we've been saying that for a long time. For me, the game is concluded. Will end this with a quote.

Gaming Experience Without DLC
I would say out of all the Paradox Games, Hearts of Iron IV (HoI 4) is really Bad without DLCs, till the point where I find it unplayable or just lacking without DLCs.

For examples: If you’re a vassal of some other country, you’re literally unable to breakout of being a vassal if you’re a minor country.

I truly wouldn’t recommend this game because of said mechanics specifically if you’re under some country rule.

(It’s not possible or very unlikely to get all achievements with just the base game)

Gaming Experience With DLC
When you add DLCs into the equation of HoI 4 it truly feels like a new game. Expanding event content and complexity, hidden rulers (Adam Hilt), Mission Trees, etc.

All these with the add on of having a great modding scene that allows you to Overhaul the whole game to your liking.

Downsides?
Well like every Paradox Game, the downside of HoI 4 is yet again the DLCs especially because the game is hard requiring the DLCs to have a non frustrating gaming experience with enjoyable components and additional.

The price of the DLC is a point of contention among me personally, it’s just too pricey and sometimes, I just want to save a quick buck.

Conclusion
Overall the game without DLC is unplayable but when you do have DLCs.

I would say your enjoyment will be a 7/10.

My Bias
Before I begin, I must say that I was extremely into the buzz, knowing that CDPR was releasing such a fantastic game (Witcher 3) for my miserable high-school self. However, when it was published, I was quite disappointed, but fortunately, I was so poor that I couldn't afford it. Concurrently, because of Edgerunner, I opted to purchase Cyberpunk 2077 in order to learn more about the setting, which changed my opinion of the game.

What made me change my mind
There are three things that change my mind about the game from my preconceive thoughts about the game.

Beauty
The game's beauty changed my opinion; I have a Laptop RTX3080, therefore I was able to play with incredibly high resolution, especially with mods.

Gameplay
Aside from that, the gameplay Stealth piqued my attention in the game. Being able to hide bodies and have silent takedowns made playing slow so much enjoyable, but don't let my words fool you; you can also play glass-canon style or even rapid hacking. That makes re-play an enjoyable and engaging experience.

Story
When it comes to story development from the main quest line I feel it is okay, nothing good nor bad. But when it comes to choice from side quests, damn it hit hard. I am not going to spoil anything but trust me the side quests is worth and thought provoking.

Downsides?
Yeah the game still have a lot of downsides, such as:
  1. NPC disappearing randomly
  2. Random car explosion
  3. Cops not doing anything or thanking you for saving them (might be fix in PL)
  4. Game Crash Randomly
  5. V’s Body not appearing while looking at the mirror (might be from mods)
  6. So on and so on.

Conclusion
Cyberpunk 2077 is honestly a great game now, with bugs that needs a bit of ironing out but still don’t let that stop you from trying it out.

Overall score:- 8/10
Gameplay:- 8/10
Music/sound:- 10/10
Fight/shooting:- 7/10
Content:- 9/10

Gaming experience without DLCs
The game by itself isn’t inherently bad without DLCs, there just isn’t any depth to the game however for example event chains or trees, and some mechanics are missing like that of moving troops across a ocean with a single click and ultimately I wouldn’t say there is anything wrong with that.

Gaming with DLCs
When DLCs are added into the game, it feels like a good whole new game, but just a single DLC wouldn’t do much for especially for me. But when having a collective DLC of the Essentials then it truly do feel like a different game, the the experience is outstanding, being able to role play as England, the Papal States, and so much more.

Downsides?
Honestly, it’s too expensive. Having let’s say the most essential DLC to me Art of War if there isn’t any discount it cost 19.99 USD which basically means that you can buy another game which has a more different experience. I myself can’t understand the reasoning for such high pricing but let me do some math for you.

Let’s say you want to have the essential DLCs right now, in my point of view (Full Price without collection):

DLC name
Price
Art of War
19.99 USD
Common Sense
14.99 USD
Dharma
19.99 USD
Emperor
19.99 USD
Rights of Man
19.99 USD
Total
94.95 USD

That basically you can buy a 2 Triple A games, but if you really want to buy those DLCs please buy it during discounts and buy collections such as Europe Universalis IV: Ultimate Bundle, or Starter Pack.

Note: Thanks for reading this and feel free to message about what I miss, I am not perfect and I do make mistake, apologize in advance.

CS:GO Review
Stars: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

The Game
The game honestly doesn’t need a review but yeah it’s CSGO the FPS godfather who spawn many other, but still it is a very fun game due to its popularity and I would say no matter how frustrating it is sometimes it is still enjoyable.

Great things about CSGO:
  1. Very controllable gun patterns
  2. Fluid Movement
  3. Incredible Workshop Community

Problems?
As we are well aware, CSGO isn’t the most friendly of place, getting kicked when you’re new, being flamed by Russian with magically words, being held hostage, ad infinitum.

However
But when you have a premade of 5 friends, the best parts about CSGO shines where random things and funny events are bound to happen especially frustrating depending on how much you value your win.

Compare?
I wouldn’t compare much between games, especially when it’s differing. I started as a MOBA player then when to Valorant, from the experience there I moved to CSGO and learned a lot and those experiences helped me in improving my game skills. Both Valorant and CSGO are fundamentally the same but I would say they both belong to different audience.

Conclusion
In personal opinion I feel like this game shines the most with friends playing as it is a great and competitive game for those who are willing to learn and enjoy/suffer.

Game With DLCs
I've spent a lot of time in the game, and I occasionally play without DLCs to see what I'm missing if I don't pay for them.

I can't lie, Stellaris is missing a basic mechanism that made the game fun; it's simply a glorified map painting simulation. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to see a galaxy transform from little more than a spot into a galaxy-wide colour. Even if you're paying full price for the game, those DLCs will cost you money, even if they're on sale. These are often fixable with mods, but you're still missing out on essential features, especially when it comes to AI.

Game With DLCs
However, I am divided because I want to tell you that having mods does make the game experience so much better, that the quality of life, the actual experience does rise with the amount of money you will be spending. Still, I believe it is dependant on each individual's perception. If you are willing to invest money on the game, go for it because it improves the game's vibe and adds elements that make it fun and humorous.

Problems?
The AI
Remember how I stated before that the AI will be lacking in features? That's only partly true, let me explain.

For whatever reason, if you don't have DLCs like Utopia or Imperial. The AI does not work with such missing DLCs, however if your missing Federation, for whatever reason, the AI will be able to fully utilise the Spy system and destabilise your Empire without being able to retaliate because guess what, you can't develop your own spices.

For DLCs like Megacorp, which is a stand-alone DLC this basically implies that if you don't have it, and you won't be fighting Megacorps.

Stability Problem
The instability difficulties are exacerbated by poor diplomatic AI (If you set AI aggression to low or neutral) in which the majority of the map quickly becomes federated or vassalized to a handful of powers, or your allies drive you into offensive battles that they have no realistic chance of winning. Winning is determined on war score and war exaustion, as in all paradox games since Europe Universalis. All of this will cause Lag the lag isn’t due to having too many visuals, but because it is poorly optimised and makes inefficient use of your CPU systems. Let’s say there is galaxy's population around 7,500 pops with differing jobs and differing boons and bonus that will just burn your CPU and GPU.

Conclusion
Honestly, the game is great but has lots of issue which is integrated with how the game work, so I just hope that you the reader is able to me against the bad and find the gem hidden in the rough.
