Every smash player looking to play smash will be disapointed and will try to make comparisons, it is not smash, its got its own way of tricks and unique sets of attacks that set itself apart from smash,
what sets each legend (Character) diffrently from the other legends that are playable, are the two weapons they hold, the stats, and signatures (Heavy).
the weapons of choice can range from a
bow, sword, axe, gauntlet, orb, cannon, Scythe, blasters (Guns), Katars, a spear,
and your dignity.
choose which way you play, you will find a legend that fits any playstyle, this game is very easy for a beginner to any platform fighter games but their will be rage as most games have that effect.
its easy to start to play passively, but if you wanna learn how to get gud,
Be aggresive, even tho it may not reward you, it will in the future, learn to miss, attack where they Can be, learn to dodge, because its your favorite button to hit,
dont be a sig spammer, just dodge alot and you will find your target.
Once you have learned the game a bit more, what each of the weapons do, you could decide on a main, learn their sigs like the back of your hand, anything that your character can do should be as relevant as how fast you can type in a search result for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. you know what you want, you know what you can get.
Just dont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

i recommend this game for a certain demographic, however, if you are a type that finds yourself to be usually calm at video games, trust me you might find some anger in this one, just tough it out you will be rewarded in the future.

and i can recommend checking youtube videos about brawlhalla and how to get good, combos strings you name it, and definitly check out training mode, its beneficial, no diet needed.
