Loved it!

It's not perfect, character animation and rigging is sometimes a bit weird. expressions are also a bit overdone and could be a bit more reigned in.

just like most reviews I'll say it's just mostly quick time events with some mini games in between. due to the disclaimer of how the mini games work it also doesn't feel like it fits too well with the game. if there where more places in the game where there would be more free roaming it would feel like it fits more to the rest of the game.

so far these mini games are the weakest part, apart from the beaming mini game, which fitted quite well.

in the beginning it doesn't feel too much like star trek, but after a while it picks up mainly due to incorporating other star trek characters and dialogue that is focused on the star trek idealism.

the next bit contains spoilers for the story of the game,
the story plot kinda feels lifted from the game freelancer which quite possibly has been lifted from something else.

the game reminded me also a bit of Jacob's loyalty mission in mass effect Andromeda.

in the end it could have a bit more choices that actually matter or change the outcome slightly.

so to improve they could maybe have swapped out some development time to do more animation and story instead of mini games since it really excels at the story.
