Games combat is an absolute joke.

The rest of the game is okay, besides the fact that water, a resource that you need for the first set of potions, is only able to be gathered from wells that get depleted, and the only way to use wells again is to wait till you can craft them and just dismantle and place again or to load your save back up (or in my case with a dedicated server, restart the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ server).

Combat is what pushed me over the edge though, the games combat is laughably weak, and even after getting upgrades feels awful. As a mage for example, you get a "blink" ability that is pretty much just a flashy dodge. Besides the upgrades to blink, which aren't even that strong, its the exact same as the dodge, you even get hit by arrows and enemies while "blinked." No invincibility frames at all. For a game where your only combat mechanics are dodging and blocking, not having invincibility frames is hilarious.

The game is very fun when it works. My main gripe with this game is they clearly use Peer to Peer or have absolutely garbage servers. Playing my favorite build (taijutsu) is absolutely impossible for 90% of the games because of the lag. A second issue is that the game is absolutely not balanced whatsoever, so if you actually want to have fun and not min / max and meta build you will probably have a bad time.

If at least the laggy servers were addressed I would absolutely recommend the game. For a game that sells microtransactions there is no reason to have such horrible peer to peer connection, or lack of good servers.

Fantastic Game, with one huge con. Dieing is a pain in the ass in this game. Dieing twice means your first death gets removed from the map. If you sailed to your death, with zero backup weapons, armor, and materials, you are essentially spending an entire day if not longer just to regain the stuff you lost. Dieing in this game makes it super discouraging to play. With beginner boats going slow and ♥♥♥♥ and having no mounts, traveling to a body far away is nearly impossible to do in a timely manner.

Seriously one of the best games i've ever played.

Great game, devs are pretty good at adding things the community wants, not what they want. Runs pretty good, pretty optimized.
