I love Space Engineers, but there are some things that freak me out way too much.

While SP is great, the MP experience is pretty unpleasant.

1. Unstable high ping.
100-270 ping is pretty unsatisfying. I rarely get 60-80, but when i do, it feels like Christmas and it doesn't last longer than 10-15 minutes.
I've been through countless forums only to find out that people actually have the same ping problem since 2015, if not earlier.
People have been having that high ping issue for almost 5 years.

They also have a PVP system.
It's like "Let's make them fight against each other and throw a 2-3 second delay on top of it! "

You can't see where the server is located.
You can't choose a specific region when creating a server.
If you see a server with a 20-30 ping, you'll still have around 100-300 m/s when you join.


Am i mad ? - You bet i am. This game's not in Early Access
It still has some annoying bugs, but they don't bother me as much as the ping problem does.

Absolutely legendary.

Immure has more action going on than in Sally Face.
I can't compare one to another really, both stories are great.

If are into Fran Bow, Sally Face & Beholder like games, i'd definitely recommend trying this one out.
it's a "yes" from me.

I would rather stick to Reaper than this.
Reaper costs twice the Mixcraft's price and has way more features and built-in plugins that are actually good.

What terrifies me the most - some software here on Steam never gets any updates from their developers (that's why you should always keep an eye on the News section to see when was the last time the product received an update).
I've been browsing through discussions, developers don't seem to care about anything.

Also, scamming.
I got Mixcraft when they had different preview video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1odQW98wtc&t ) where they said it has built-in guitar amp sims and some more additional content.
Now they changed the demo video but the damage is already done, i can't refund.
I wish i never bought Mixcraft, the amp sims were never there.

Another thing - they are deleting any comments they don't agree wth on their Youtube's video which has only 11 neutral / positive comments and 14k views.
This just seems like another red flag to me.



11.06.2020 update - I linked a Youtube video to my review, because that's the exact video that was originally on Steam on Mixcraft's store page.
It got removed approximately a year or two ago and was replaced by another demo.
Now that this review got attention, i felt the need to link it to really show you how misleading it was back then.

13.07.2020 update - I found myself using Mixcraft to make drum tracks / drum backing tracks out of drum samples.
It's a little harder than in FL Studio, but it's doable.

Mixcraft doesn't load / see over a half of my plugin library (i've got VSTs 1-3 and DLLs), it doesn't load them.
It does see some of the DLLs and i can use them in the software, but other DLLs are missing, can't load them.
Please take that into consideration.

Yes, you can buy this software and ask for a refund, but first read about Steam refund policy.
Read everything with care, especially the "Where Refunds Apply" part.

I appreciate the effort.
It's well done for a 150-170 mb game.

Unfortunately i could not stand the heat.

This game has no punishment for TK ( teamkilling ) and has no filters not even the simpliest swear words

1. Chat is always toxic
2. Wanna play engineer? - Expect to get kicked out of your own ballista by teammates.
3. If you are AFK for at least 2-3 seconds - you get decapitated by teammtes.
4. Wanna ride a horse ? - Your teammates will damage the poor animal just because you got it before them and they are jealous.
5. Engineer trolls will block ways or even put spikes where they shouldn't be. Sometimes they throw smoke on them to get as many TKs as possible.

1v1 / duel / pvp servers are the only way to really enjoy the game.

I play it mainly for DLCs as i'm more of a BS1 & 2 fan and they are actually well-made.
It's not the BIoshock of my childhood and it was a bit uncomfortable at first, but got used to it pretty quickly.
The story is rich, plasmids, graphics, everything is just brilliante~.

Remastered versions are more about better graphics and some extra settings in your Options tab, which really surprised me.
Everything just looks better, i'll stick to remastered versions of BIoshock series.

(!) I experienced no crashes at all.
If you experience crashes, try using the "-dx9" without quotes in Bioshock's launch options (Your steam library > bioshock > right click > options / properties > launch options).
