Giving DD2 a negative review would be doing the community a disservice. Granted there are some optimisation issues in the cities resulting in graphical lag, but it is manageable and I have no doubt it will be fixed sooner rather than later. And while the micro transactions are a scummy practice and should be subjected to scrutiny it is not needed or noticable while playing (no ingame shop etc.)

Most importantly to me the gameplay (noteable its combat) is great fun and the world is beautiful.

Id say this is worth a play.

Fantastic game

It's pretty great already, and it's only just getting started.

I like it better than the first one.. the tone of the story gets set early on and I've been hooked ever since!

It's just not very good.

Nearly gave in to despair when I landed in the most awfull zone with 2 psychopaths and a slowpoke. And many enemy tribes nearby.

Survived the initial phase and ended up with a murder room where my psychopaths slaughtered and ate all the invading nearby tribes.

Food wasnt a problem and made it off rimworld eventually, I love this game!

I was hesistant at first to get Spellforce 3, havent played an rts in a while and the graphics looked a lil clunky to me initially.. After having played the campaign for 12 hours I can already tell you it's well worth it! If you enjoy rpg's and rts games you'll enjoy this!
