One of the best releases that came out lately, Goold old Marvel story, GREAT soundtrack and classic cross-galactic humour was what always made G̶a̶r̶d̶e̶n̶e̶r̶s̶ Guardians Of The Galaxy such great movie and its very obvious the devs knew that and delivered another, authentic Guardians expierence! Stick it to EA and their "singleplayer games dont sell" flark and show them just how much fun you can have!

Early Access Review
Until this game has working speech recognition out of the box. I CANT recommend this game. Whats te point of building mechanics upon something that either straight up CANT be working or you need to go trough loops to fix it?

Oh, OpenTTD. The legend, the myth, the black hole for hours and hours of anyone’s free time that will forever reign as the king of transportation sims. This game has a magic that you just don’t find anywhere else. It doesn’t just take you back to the golden era of pixel art and management games — it whisks you away and then holds you there in a dream-like state where time and hunger are mere illusions. Once you start, days start to blur, food and water become “secondary needs,” and the only thing that matters is maximizing that railway efficiency to watch your revenue charts soar.

It’s hard to believe that OpenTTD first came out so many years ago, and yet here we are in 2024, still playing, tweaking, and relishing every single train we lay down. The developers keep rolling out updates, keeping this classic alive in a way that breathes fresh life into every pixel and every map. It's as if the game was a living, breathing piece of art that the community has lovingly, almost obsessively, nurtured for decades. Even after all these years, it’s still the gold standard of transport management — and it’s still free! The dedication to continually improving and expanding an open-source game that’s been around since 2004 is mind-boggling in itself, but when you play it, you see why.

Then, of course, there are the mods. Oh, the mods. The lovingly crafted content packs, scenarios, and tweaks created by some of the most brilliant, passionate, autistic, detail-oriented people you’ll ever come across online — fans with the patience and precision to replicate entire real-world transit systems or conjure up fantastical networks of their own invention. The community around OpenTTD is made up of individuals who are just as crazy about buses, trains, and airplanes as you’ll be after your first 20 hours of gameplay. It’s a treasure trove of downloadable content, from realistic trains that mimic the sounds and speeds of their real-life counterparts to fantastical future transit systems. And it’s not just trains — if it moves people or goods, there’s a modder who’s thought about it.

Every time you think you’ve found all the best mods, another creator comes out with something even more incredible, a new layer of depth that somehow makes this game even more immersive and addictive. It’s a game that lets you tap into your inner logistics genius and, for many of us, indulges our quiet love for public transit. There’s something deeply satisfying in optimizing a bus route to perfection or watching a meticulously planned train network function without a single hitch. It’s not just the thrill of success; it’s the sheer joy of seeing it all work.

And the thing that might keep me coming back forever? Every session is unique. One day, I’m tinkering with a rail network so complex that the hamster in my brain is running in overdrive just to keep up. The next day, I’m building the most bizarrely beautiful and winding bus routes, or taking on airports, setting up delivery services, creating intersections so intricate you’d think they belonged in a modern art museum. And if something doesn’t work — no big deal. There’s always a tweak, a solution, and with each attempt, your little virtual empire grows closer to perfection.

OpenTTD is the kind of game that makes you look up and realize you’ve forgotten to eat, that the sun has set (or risen) without your noticing, and that you’re maybe more emotionally invested in watching a little pixelated town grow than you’ve ever been in any AAA game. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. The game’s been out for almost two decades, and I’m still excited to see what comes next.
