SCP: Containment Breach is one of those horror games that sticks with you long after you've played it. As someone who has spent years playing it (since 2015), I can say it's a game that truly gets under your skin.

You play as a D-Class personnel trapped in a secret facility after a containment breach. This means all sorts of terrifying creatures are now on the loose, and you have to find a way to survive. The game's biggest draw is its unpredictability. Every time you play, the layout changes, and different SCPs show up, keeping things fresh and scary no matter how many times you dive in.

SCPs are the stars of the show. Each one has unique and creepy behaviors. Take SCP-173, for instance—it only moves when you're not looking, which makes for some nerve-wracking moments. Or SCP-096, which will chase you down if you look at its face. These different entities make every encounter a tense puzzle to solve.

The graphics might not be cutting-edge, but they get the job done. The simple design, combined with great lighting and sound effects, creates a haunting atmosphere. The sound design is especially good—creaks, distant screams, and sudden alarms all add to the tension.

Even though the game is a bit old and can be rough around the edges, the community has kept it alive with mods. These add new creatures, stories, and even graphical improvements, ensuring the game stays interesting.

SCP: Containment Breach is a fantastic horror game that thrives on unpredictability and atmosphere. It's perfect for anyone who loves a good scare and doesn't mind a few jump scares. As the quintessential SCP game, it holds a special place in the hearts of fans; whether you're new to it or a veteran, it's worth a play, especially after its multiplayer release on Steam!
