Has no proper single player. Instead, it is a "hotseat" for if you and a friend just wanna fiddle with each other. No tutorial, no frame data, no method of new player introduction. Instead, the developers have kindly informed you and all players that you can go ♥♥♥♥ yourself and either lab for countless hours, get beat on for even more countless hours, or just refund this terrible game like I have. Maybe if it was free, but i'm not giving anyone 5$ for this. DO NOT PLAY

This is still a terrible game. I had to launch it 9 times before it launched to the most *Horrific, monotonous, and painfully tedious tutorial for a shooter imaginable.* I played it during the beta and while i can say it's firmly a mild step up from that, seeing as I only launched around to the moon once or twice during a weird landing angle or interaction device as opposed to in an infinite loop perpetually. However, going from -100 to a -90 is still a -90. Now we're gonna have to pray the next game gets the Microsoft treatment of Good/garbage/good/garbage and then double pray for it to be modern/ roughly 2042 ish again. I don't want another Destiny or WW1/2 shooter.

Did i mention this game has no campaign? At all? Even COD had to accept that its players wanted a campaign in their mainline titles, and EA makes this fumble without a second or really even a first thought. Giving EA the credit of being anything more than a jar monkeys fighting over bananas is beyond lackadaisical. Good bye 2042.

Double fun fact: It was considered such a bad idea to have specialists as the primary distinguisher that, now, it's classed based again WITH THE HEROES BEING CLASS LOCKED. It's still a terrible system. Who wants to see 30-40 copies of the same 5-10 models in a AAA game as the selling point?

This is the the video game equivalent of a the kardashian sex-tape. All for publicity and a quick buck, but left with an emotionless gaping hole and a disgusting mess with no way to fix what just happened.

Game is trash, 1 shot kills, minimum visbility, nothing redeeming about this writihing cesspit piece of ♥♥♥♥ or its even worse sequel.

How to play this game:

Walk forward for ~4 seconds
See an enemy
Die faster than is humanly possible
Respawn
Repeat infinitely

Not to mention:
Most guns are on "timers" 3/5/7/day rentals. You can buy permanent guns, but they often cost a special currency which takes variable amounts of time to farm
LOOT CRATES, AND TRASH ONES AT THAT
regularly having 150+ ping players who lag the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and make it so you're teleporting back behind corners you just passed and disorienting you. ALL. THE. TIME. doesn't matter if you have 30 ping.
TTK of less than 2 seconds
CS:GO esque aiming where if you're moving, the bullets DO NOT end up in the crosshair, especially in sniper rifles where you think your crosshair is directly on them and POOF bullet deviates to the edge of the scope with no explanation.

Here's the deal mates, I'm one of the MANY people who decided to try this game free-week. And, when I was actually able to play it, it was pretty solid, I even got some pretty good k/d's... for the few rounds I got the game to actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work.

Honestly, as a game, it's probably pretty good, and when I got it to work, it was rather fun. HOWEVER
AND I DO MEAN MASSIVE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HOWEVER

This game is damn near unplayable with lag. I have a gtx1080TI (6gb version i believe), ryzen 2700x, 16gb ram, and a 4k monitor. Now, there are people playing this game successfully with 970's/960's and even lower hardware and say the game works fine. I've had no such luck.
I've tried setting the resolution to 1440, 4k, 1920x1080, and even a few of the weirder ones just to see if it was a matter of the game being unable to render well in 4k (I assume this is the case). I did some solid game-time using the 1920x1080, but that too, eventually came to a STAGGERING halt when i got massive amount of loading lag (which persists for about the first 3-10 minutes of ANY new map/ game) MASSIVE sttuttering when moving around to areas the first time, and FAR more.

This is absolutely unacceptable, this is a AAA game that can't even operate on a PRETTY HIGH END PC.

Are there FPS fixes? Yes, I've looked at a few of them and even tried some of the simpler ones out (I don't own this game, i'm not spending DAYS fixing this ♥♥♥♥) and those didn't make it work better, in-fact, it made it worse. As of right now, mainmenu works fine and I get 0 lag there, but the moment I hop in game, IT'S ABSOLUTLY AWFUL.

So, until dev's fix this ♥♥♥♥ and make this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game playable, I'm taking a hard ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pass. Dev's, get your ♥♥♥♥ together, insurgency 1 didn't have 1/10th of these problems, wtf guys.
