The game always had issues people were willing to overlook because the lack of aggressive microtransactions and absence of political current-thing-ism combined with a decent gameplay loop and attractive aesthetic style made it the most fun you could have for the time period but the constant rebalancing, community managers bad mouthing players, and now Sony wanting more hands-on involvement in managing player interactions just feels like the straw that broke the camel's back
