Note : I had the game on xbox gamepass and recently Bought the game on steam thanks to the spring sales and managed to move my save files (so steam total hour does't reflect my full playtime of around 133 hours)and ooooh boy best decision i ever did!

Persona 5 Royal is the game that made me enter the Persona Franchise and it never left, Everything from the Artstyle, The Story, The Characters and Especially the Music(composed by Shōji Meguro alongside the Beautiful Voice of Lyn) makes you immerse in a Beautiful depiction of Tokyo and it's Districts, Spanning from Shibuya to Akihabara to the new addition Kichijoji and more.

The Artsyle oozes with originality, I have never seen such a Unique Player Menu in my life, the sharp contrasts between red and Black is dominant (especially in the menu) with the unique blend of anime and comic style. The persona design are awesome and the characters outfits fits their theme beautifully. The Music arrangements are perfect, The Acid Jazz genre fits perfectly with the story of the Phantom Thieves and The royal music additions are the best. My favorite ones are; "Beneath the mask" "I believe" "Rivers of the Desert" "Last Surprise" "Whims of fate" "Butterfly Kiss" and "life goes on"

The Story talks about Rebellion against society that has been distorted by desires, and those who have the biggest distortion they have their own "palaces" (a unique take on dungeons)and as the job of us Phantom thieves we need to steal their heart that is formed like a treasure in the palaces and let them confess their sins. All palaces have their distinct artstyle and I never found them boring thanks to the nice addition of puzzles that makes it more enganging. Also you have "Mementos" which is a more classic take of dungeons and it manifests the distorted desires of the Public.

The Characters are very well written all with their unique backstory and especially they feel so close and real that you can't believe they don't exist, maybe that was the intention for Atlus after all, the MC can be our self projecting he doesn't talk much and we do the dialogue choices, The Major strength of Persona is the Social Link system and this one is the best, especially with the additional 3 social links for royal. The game heavily emphasize to do social links and that's really important, especially if you want to unlock the new Third Semester, Also gives to your party members new Upgrades and Abilities and "Awakenings" that will strengthen their persona. Plus you have other confidants that give you passive boosts for your Party. Oh and if you want "more" than a simple friendship for a female confidant you can! on my first playthrough I chose Sumire without cheating because she is my ideal type and the ideal Fit for Joker IMO, but you can choose whatever you want to see fit.
(On a side note about romances: you can also do Harem but you are in for a treat in the end so I won't suggest :P)

There are 2 characters that made me Cry a Lot. Especially one that felt so close to me, because it resembled that type of friend that you really want to save but he refuses and wants to carve his own path alone selfishly.... if you want to know the name for me it was Akechi. A character so well written and characterized with a tragic backstory.

Persona 5 Royal is one of those experiences that pushes the video games as a work of art and it really made me change how I am living my life, It helped me change my fashion style, how I approach people and removed a big part of my shyness.
It made me really appreciate the friendships I have made along my lifetime and pushes me to strengthen their bonds with the one you are closer, because in the end of the day they will be there for you always, like you were always there for them and that I am really grateful.
In the end The Phantom Thieves Really Stole my heart

avendo acquistato precedentemente Verdun e Tannenberg mi sarei aspettato il gioco molto simile, ma invece ne rimango sopreso di quanto sia meglio di entrambi, fluidità del gameplay pazzesca che rimuove la legnosità dei precedenti, accuratezza storica pazzesca e le location sono praticamente la copia di quelle vere. L'aggiunta di Bot è davvero ottima se vuoi avere un giornata tranquilla con amici e inoltre sull 'aspetto di immersività non c'è niente da dire veramente on point.
Non vedo l'ora per le mappe future del gioco, ma per adesso mi sta piacendo tantissimo.

Le uniche Pecche sono il comparto audio per i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ e le pistole che secondo me hanno bisogno di più potenza e i 5 dlc al lancio con poca scelta estetica se lo prendi in versione standard.

If I need to go on detail and make some criticism the AI needs some tweaking and the content is not very much. BUT you never get bored playing.. Gunfights are super intense and varied and the atmosphere is horror level(sometime it reminded me of SH).

Weapon-Reload Animations are god Tier, movement anims needs some tweaking but is good, the few details like the bore offset, different fake surrenders and different animation if you arrest a suspect or a civilian enhances the game.

Music is being developed and they are adding more so i can't judge but i must say it gives me the same SWAT 4 feels and I approve a lot, as for Sound.. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AWESOME the weapon sounds are so beefy and realistic it immerse you so much as if you were there

ALL in ALL I am really enjoying the few games i had with my friends. A big suggestion is to play in coop with some people, I think is also a good way to steam off some pressure that the game gives when playing(especially on solo with AI) and also you can have a few laughs sometimes.

Highly Suggested if you want a tactical cooperative shooter.
