As it's early access, there is currently only one song track during the levels (though it is not a bad track to be fair)

Easy to pick up but as you go further into the appendices/endless runs, it helps to know what powers stack poorly together in order to not ramp the difficulty too much

There are definitely bugs but none are game-breaking and they are patched steadily with a very communicative and kind dev team (via the Vellum Discord)

A run can take half an hour to several hours. Conversely, it takes a decent chunk of time if you want to unlock every achievement/cosmetic/etc

From day one this game was well worth the price and I don't see it becoming not worth it anytime in the near future.

Overall it is absolutely incredible for an early access game! It has a certain charm that I haven't quite encountered in any other roguelike. There are obviously negatives (like the framerate struggling at later points in a run when there is a lot happening at once, for example) but they don't harm the game enough to make it unfun. It is also updated regularly with consistent feedback and commentary from the dev team and I cannot recommend it enough :)

I now have no social life because I can't put this game down 10/10

Emily is Away was an incredible but short game with a little bit of replayability. Only thing I didn't like was how meaningless your choices felt in the long run.

Emily is Away TOO takes everything I loved about the original and makes it better. There's much more to explore and do, you can talk to more than just the person stringing you along. It's a very unique, poignant game I have replayed to death and always recommend to friends.

Just give it a chance and it will amaze you. (And take you back to the times of AIM and MSN Messenger. Such simpler times.)

Ran out of clean underwear for the week less than two hours in
10/10 would ♥♥♥♥ again

Cute, quirky, and oddly satisfying.

It's akin to a Harvest Moon, but with slimes.

You live your life catching slimes, feeding slimes, fighting slimes...

They're all adorable, even the mean ones.
