Really bad game.

Boring city/open world, and yet, they managed to make the progression even worse with generic races that lacks cohesion whatsoever and a push for useless social events through online rankings with your friends.

Horrible gameplay, the cars keep the turn for too long, making even worse when you are just wandering through the city looking for events.

Art direction is a mess, so much clutter and lack of visual clarity, the game is always trying to blind the player for no reason.

Also, EA App(Origin with other name...) just make things worse, the game only works if I close the MSI Afterburner.

Avoid this game.

I see some people were hoping for more lawyer/accuser work, and compared it to other games, but I am all for the open ended/world approach of Paradise Killer, the game wasn't all about the case.

Making discovers while searching around the island was pretty gratifying, you find not only clues to help you on the case, but learn about the bizarre world of the game and its weird and interesting characters. This was what took my attention and made me try the demo years ago, such weirdness in design reminded me of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

The soundtrack also needs to be mentioned, it's so good, you'll be pretty familiarized with the playlist while you do legwork around the island. (Yes, you will walk a lot in this game.)

I really loved my time playing this game and I feel it punched way above its weight class.
I am really interested in seeing more of this fascinating world/universe(whatever you call it) in the future.

One of the greatest racing games ever created.

It's not the top contender in any aspect aside modability, but it still has the best overall package, and it's so fun to drive.

Without mods, there's a big number of cars divided in a good number of categories, a good number of laserscanned real tracks, some of the most famous from Formula 1, other 2 fictional locations with varied configurations, 7 in total, offering something different to race in a simulator, tracks with the classic Need for Speed vibe(real classic, the old ones, not Underground ♥♥♥♥) , a huge number of challenges if you like to race against the clock.
If you like to mess with mods, then the numbers get ridiculous, there probably thousands of cars to download, also a huge number of tracks(there are even some open world maps lol), and some mods that transform the game into something that even the creators from Kunos didn't expect it was possible in this game.(suposedely it was impossible to recreate night in this engine because of a limitation of light sources and it was also impossible to have rain in this game, yet, the modders did their magic.)

However, it's not a friendly game for someone that doesn't already like cars or is expecting a campaign to keep up its motivation to play.
Thing is almost a sandbox, it's just about selecting a car and track and there you are, having fun just for the drive. You can even create some dumb races, like, you in a race car like a F1 against 21 slow road cars.

I don't think this game is on par when facing Monster Hunter: World, but it still easily the best game I've played this year.

I won't be extending much here, it's the excellent gameplay from before, but you are also allowed to do some crazy ninja moves that look really cool, so, they gave even more options for the player, and sometimes this is a detriment since it messes with the balance of the hunt, and I believe a lot of players coming from MH: World felt this way.

I consider Sunbreak more important to Rise than Iceborne is to World, so, get it as soon as you have the chance.

This game sucks. Tried to play in 2009~2010(Jack S. Edition), then 2013~2014 and again in 2022. I don't think I'll be trying this game again after playing Spider-Man, now I know for a fact that it was not just me being stubborn and not giving a fair chance.

When you are walking around the map, the controls are super stiff, seems like Batman is using a heavy armor made of stone and can only walk straight, then you start a battle and he throws away the heavy armor and turns into the Pumped Ballerina, pirouetting left and right with those so weird movements. It's as ugly to see as it feels bad to control(Feels like Batman, eh? FEELS LIKE ♥♥♥♥!).

Well, at least at its time, it was good at technical aspects, using Physx and ♥♥♥♥... but that's about it.

Never liked Batman Arkham Asylum, even tried to play it again in the first half of 2022(it was my third try), still, I was curious about this game, the "Sony Ex-clusive". The begining didn't sold it to me, but In the end I had a good time with the game.
Like with God of War, this is another game that fears losing player interest, to me, it's clear they have a department studying "how to not make the common player feel bad", I do not think this is something that is all positive, sometimes it looks like it's pampering in fear that players will stop playing if they don't advance or find some type of collectible every 3 minutes.

Swinging through the city can be fun, and I give credits here, you have the freedom to make this more fun and faster using different moves, so it's not just press a button and keep it straight.
Combat uses the same basics from Batman, with no lock, attack button and "counter" button, not really my type, but the aerial combos are fun and then pulling and throwing things with the web, these, and dropping enemies from buildings(I'm not killing anyone, it's all gravity's fault... just kidding, the web will save them). There is also a good variety of gadgets and attacks using the web.

There's a good number of supervillains in the game, but only one, or maybe one and a half, have a good screentime, it seemed too rushed. The tone wasn't very good, usually too light, but I won't be too harsh here(the problem is probably elsewhere, I believe this is how Marvel ♥♥♥♥ is treated | also some characters are different from the 90's cartoon, that's the only Spider-Man I know), yet there are 2 really tough moments throughout the story.
The soundtrack for the most part is awful, generic and boring.

After a good experience with Spider-Man, I even think in giving Batman another shot in the future(but for sure it won't be the awful Arkham Asylum), I think that's the better praise I can give to this game.

Really great game, shows excellency in various aspects, but it's also too afraid of pissing off its players, always sugarcoating and oversimplifying things, even in the backtracking portion of the game.

The revamped gameplay is pretty good and unique, there is a nice balance in fights and you can customize Kratos enough to create some variety in the way you play. Travelling is not very fun, it seems it's there just to keep things calm for some time while the characters interact with each other.

There are some good parts in the script, maybe 2 or 3 really good or touching moments, but in general I didn't care much about it.

Pretty chill and entertaining gaming, not really strong on the "simulator" aspect, but it's good enough to play it using a wheel.

If you don't care much about traffic laws, you can play like a mad driver speeding through the cities and passing on red lights, the game is pretty lenient about that... not that you should do it, but, hey, you can, if that's what you want.

This was the first Persona game that I've played and what a fantastic game! At first I was a little disappointed since I was expecting the way more famous game, Persona 5, to come to PC, not an old PS2/Vita game that doesn't share the same renown.

Still, I was like "alright let's see if this one is good". And now, maybe I'm biased or still too hyped after recently playing this game, but it is easily one of the best game I've played and probably the best JRPG I've played.
The visual style is great, however the technical part isn't on par with today graphics. The soundtrack is amazing, definitely the type that makes history.

Great cast of characters, it was really nice getting to know more and more backstory through the Social Link events. It's still a world grounded in reality, and I enjoyed seeing those real world common themes and the internal growth of the characters.

Persona 4 has the best paced story of any JRPG I've seen. The only way to break its pace is if you want to grind levels at some dungeon, outside that is always go, go, go.
You can't manage to do everything when you want, the world doesn't stop for you. There's no "please help me with this matter of life and death" and then you only show up 6 months later and nothing happened.

At the dungeons you just keep going through the different floors until you get to the boss. It's the weakest part of the game, the dungeon map designs, I mean. But while you are there you'll fight a lot(no random encounters, by the way), and the combat system is great. A good "rock-paper-scissor" with the elemental system and passive abilities triggering all the time, there's always something cool and flash happening and if you're playing good, you don't even let the CPU attack. Not only that, but you also have a little of Pokémon with the different Personas on your team.

Now I'm REALLY REALLY EAGER to see Persona 5 on PC. Or maybe I'm setting myself to be disappointed after my great time with Persona 4.

PS: By the way, you can write it down if you want, "May ~ July of 2022", this will be the launch window for Persona 5 on PC. =)
