If I could sum up this game it's relaxation combined with challenge. The cult section can be liberating and enjoyful as you build your flock and base as you see fit, giving or taking from your followers as you please. Combine that with a dungeon mechanic that is surprisingly simply yet has a lot of depth given through random chance and you have a game that blends the best of dungeon runners with the best of base builders.

I will note that in it's current state the game is rather short taking me just under 50 hours to 100%, most of that being the no hit bishop challenges which were heavily reliant on RNG for the right tarot cards, curses and weapons.

This game is a ton of fun packed into a short burst of brutality.

You go on D&D style adventures ranging from fighting off chaos poisoning the world to fighting off the winter cold while being poisoned, stabbed and cursed along the road to a dragon guarding a treasure mountain.

This game is hardcore, good weapons break, you get status debuffs that don't leave and sanctums you devote yourself to crumble to save you from dying locking them forever. Timer's tick down and the world changes through scourges messing up your adventure. The stakes are high because once you run out of lives your game is over.

This game also features a Lore unlocking system: by fighting scourges, beating dungeons and finishing quests you receive Lore books which unlock new content and can be spent to unlock them. you can get new classes and objects to try out in your world as well a new items to battle your way to the end of your grand quest.

Now as for what you start of with it's not much you start off with minor character customization like hair and skin colour as well as male/female genders. You also get 4 classes:

Blacksmith: The Tank/Fighter of the group uses swords and shields and can shrug off damage just because.
Hunter: The archer and assassin of the group uses bows and has bonuses to evasion skills and perception skills really good for disabling traps and finding items
Scholar: The Wizard of the group uses Tomes and Staffs to pierce and damage opponents with big magic damage
Minstril: The Bard of the group buffs and motivates the group while doing magic damage and debuffing enemies.

These classes can be expanded in the Lore shop to include healers, debuff and buff heavy characters or more lone wolf type characters.

Overall there's a lot of thing I like with a few things that I do not like when your cool weapons break they're gone forever, the chaos turn counters can sometimes be a bit hard to manage and the game goes 0-100 real quick after the first quest. but other than that It's a wonderful game would highly recommend.

Now i'm a take what you get sort of guy. I can handle delays, glitches and even lack of content but this game is one of those that I don't know why still go for 39.99 4 years later.

This game did one thing that I can't stand and that is does not launch. You get into a game loading screen and it freezes and that's only if it doesn't crash 5 times while trying to open it AND Uplay works. It is also if you don't have to spend downloading it over 7 hours only for it to break and then spending another 4 hours having the game go over every file to see what it missed.

I cannot recommend this game I love this series but it's not worth your time because it doesn't even work. Now for the sake of argument I only got this for $10 so it wasn't that pricey but still $10 I lost because this game does not want to actually do the one thing it's meant to do: play something.

This game is great and carries the Starwars name with a certain power not felt in most other RPGs the one thing holding back is seen resolution at the end of the game. While you get a cutscene from the first one telling you everyone got out KOTR 2 lands you i n a dark pit of is this person still alive or not. Would still recommend getting the game.

P.S. Get the throw lightsaber ability as it will allow you to stun lock and melee ememy in the game including the final boss.

Why this game works and EA battlefront fails is that battlefront from the start copied battlefield in its idea of just having a big battle and it didn't matter what side you were on you could jump into anything the enemy had and kill them with it. We wouldn't have a problem if they just realized what we need is just a battlefeild game with a starwars skin on it and that why this game works. You get everything from the start and the only unlockable is on game to game basis and is there just so there isn't 500 droidkas running around you earn your right to be the hero by just being the best nuff said.

TL;DR: Cheap, fun and allows you to do whatever you want whenever you want it.

Basically Age of Empires 2: Star wars editionbut man is it not just really fun to send my entire army to death by an AI Jedi/Sith. 10/10 would get blasted by enemy fighters again.

3 factions allwith authentic weapons
Faction weapons handle diffrently even on same classes
Minimal HUD to make game harder but more rewarding
Local only voice chat (you can't talk across the battlefeild)
Old Day of defeat maps restored
British early access items actually have scotish voice acting
Hard as nails Co-op mode with lots of bot who want you dead.

Cons: No tutorial to teach you anything (for now)
Bots in Co-op mode usually pick officer and leave no regard for teamates when calling in support items like artillery strikes

Overall 9.5/10 Would Dog Red again!

Great game with not alot of love and a tryed and true fanbase

Funny game with good twists and a familier yet diffrent feel to it.

If you have LOTS of time and good puzzle solving skills than this game is for you.

If you suck at puzzles look up a guide (no shame in that).

Really game is cheap and fun and can give a good 1-2 hours with guides
Or a good 10-20 figuring out all of them by yourself. Either way was a fun experience that keeps you going for more after the 5th ending

If you love things like MvM or wave based zombie shooters like CoD zombies this is for you. It gives you a great Counter Strike feel while still feeling like a diffrent game altogether and will also kick your teeth in if you don't play with your team.

Linear Classes within the game
Set in CS source graphics
Not all players play as a team
The same maps Again and Again
2 game modes and difficulties ramp up too much between the Normal and Insane
