Early Access Review
TL:DR - Cheap Mobile Port, not worth playing
The summary
Game is optimized and set up for play on a mobile platform. The game even asks if you have mobile data to bring over when first launching.
Because of this it feels terrible on PC, and I cannot recommend it as such.

Review From a COD Veteran

Campaign:
Campaign is overall fun to play and has good voice acting, cut scenes etc.
Feels very similar to the older call of duty games, "the golden age" if you will.
Optimized and runs fairly well.

Multiplayer:
Not worth the purchase.
Very little content was given at launch. Everything from guns, to maps, to modes, to equipment, to progression, EVERYTHING was lacking.
The "new content" that has been released into the game is recycled content from the older games that should have been present at launch. This rings true for any content they've released - maps, guns, modes, everything.
Incredibly toxic match making and camo challenges which are purposely designed to keep you playing longer and waste more time all in the name of "extending the grind".
Iconic characters such as Cpt.Price are locked behind a pay wall.
Constant crashes make it very hard to enjoy the game, even the competitive side. Here we are, months after the initial release, and the game can barely get through a session without CTD at least once.
On the day of writing this review: I played the game for around 1 hour, during which it crashed 4 times. It is no where near the max that my pc can handle, and files were indeed verified, yet this is what we get lol.

All in all I would say wait for a great sale. The gunplay is smooth, but for a game of this caliber you would expect far more from it. There is little if nothing to do besides the campaign and multiplayer, as the co-op is extremely repetitive and buggy from my experience. After this title I am done with the Call of Duty Franchise until they actually release something worth purchasing.

This is going to be my overall review of Rogue Company, which will include the pros, cons, and final thoughts on the game.

Pros:

100% free to play. ALL rogues can be obtained by grinding the free in game currency, which is done by completing daily challenges, reaching new account levels, etc. Obviously spending CAN speed up your progress, but there is nothing unattainable by not paying.

Plenty of rogue selection, all with different abilities, offering many diverse play styles, as well as team compositions.

Continually being updated (at the time of writing this review), with each update adding new content, maps, sometimes rogues, etc.

Plenty of different game modes, all the way from casual training maps, to competitive lobbies focused on increasing your rank.

Cons:

Sometimes a very bug ridden game. I've personally experienced issues where bombs cannot be defused, shots hit through walls, graphic bugs, getting stuck in different locations, glitched abilities, etc. Most of these are USUALLY patched out, but not all the time.

Competitive, even at the lower ranks is ridden by obscenely good players, I would imagine this is due to the relatively low amount of players active in the game, meaning SBMM doesn't get to accurately do it's thing.

Unless you spend money on the game, it can end up feeling very "grindy" especially if you don't like to work for your rewards.

Framerate can sometimes drastically drop when entering combat.

Final Thoughts

Overall a great game that I have personally spent a lot of time enjoying. Do yourself a favour: Don't play as fixer :D

Terrible game, don't waste your time. Downloaded, game opens. I go to character creation. Everyone looks like a damn ogre regardless of gender, or whatever else you may pick. You can't change your face, only the face paint, lighting is garbage, combat is tedious. On top of that, the game will not "close" even after you quit. The exe continues to run in the background of your computer, eating way more resources than it should. I had to use task manager to get it to close so I could uninstall lol.

Pretty damn good game actually! I don't have a ton of experience in the genre, but compared to entries like Elder Scrolls Online, the combat is way more interactive, and feels so much better! The questions don't do much in terms of XP, which is odd compared to other MMORPG's. Your main way of levelling is just grinding mobs, which is great if you're okay throwing on some music and having at it! 100% worth the ~13$! Hope this review helps someone!

This is hands down one of the best, and really only, good hunting games on Steam! Content is constantly being released, and the game is constantly being fixed/updated.
Pros:
  • Constantly growing community with huge amounts of content being released, as well as patches/updates to older content, combining together to create a polished experience.
  • Community feedback is actually listened to and implemented into the game, meaning everyone can have a fair say/input.
  • DLC is a part of the game, but it is done the absolute best I have seen in ANY game, period. Players can play DLC maps without purchasing, via a multiplayer session, which does have to be hosted by someone with the DLC.
  • Huge array of locations/species to hunt.

Cons:
  • Can become very repetitive for veteran players, or real life hunters.
  • Far more fun with friends. (this is listed as a con because I do not have any)
Overall score: 8.5/10

QUICK REVIEW: I DO NOT recommend this game. Save your money for something more worthwhile.

FULL REVIEW:
The game is an amazing concept that started off as a simple mod for Arma 2.
Sadly the development team has done nothing except make false promises, and money grabs. I bought this game over 5 years ago, and nothing has changed, apart from a money grab DLC being produced, and now allowing mods. The mods have fixed most of the issues with the game, to the point it is playable, but yet Bohemia want's to take credit for it. There is 0% credit given to the community for fixing their garbage game.

Initial Review: Amazing game
Pros:
This game is based off of other games such as DayZ, and Rust. It tried to take the best parts of both games and execute on them, which is did very well!
Single player and multiplayer options.
100% free to play.
Easy to pick up and learn.
Tons of mechanics to make use of, such as modded servers, crafting, looting, building, repairing, vehicles, quests, etc.

Cons:
Game has not been updated in quite a while, although the developer is allegedly working on new updates.
Can be very repetitive, especially single player.

Overall: 8.5/10

Extremely fun RTS/strategy game.
As a person who wants to go into lawn enforcement in the future, this game is absolutely amazing as a basic, non-confusing approach to a L.E strategy game. Really the only other game I have ever found close to this is Breach and clear, but that is military based.
-There are "campaigns" you can complete, as well as regular missions.
-You can level your squad, select upgrades in terms of skills, weapons, armour, etc.
-Graphics suit the gameplay. Nothing is over complicated.
-Great selection of maps, modes, officers, tactics, weapons, armour, tactical equipment, and scenarios.
-No DLC pay walls like are so common now-a-days
-Satisfying gameplay mechanics allow skilled players to complete the missions with one "set" of instructions
-Well implemented fog of war mechanics keep each map tense, and raise a sense of awareness
Overall this game is one of, if not the absolute best S.W.A.T/law enforcement games to date, especially in regards to real-time strategy. 1000% worth the price! Enjoy the game!
