they dropped "1.0" and it's still in early access. they keep making the game and optimization worse patch by patch. the game still looks like cheeks. and the devs are some of the worst people ive ever seen. also i bought this when it was 20 euros and had potential. now the game is more expensive. has dlc. and is worse.

do not buy or support these devs

you gotta do a grind for recources so you can gatcha yourself items for in your shop. which resets per season. hard pass.

Any Hazelight Studios game is a MUST play coop game. And this one is even better then the last one.

I am in love.
With Monster Hunter 6 they go back to the slower gameplay but now as this games gimmick they added the focus mode and changed the Iceborne wound system around it and i think it feels amazing. This is the first time in a monster hunter game i loved every weapon change they introduced (as a insect glaive/Lance player i am happy atleast).

This is the first MH game where the story is actually enjoyable to play through with full attention for more casual fans. which i think is huge! But for me the biggest thing is the detail in world. ive spend hours catching bugs. looking at birds. fishing. Following wildlife and seeing what an average day looks like. It's peaceful and beautiful.

Let me adress the issues. the game runs terrible unless you have an amazing pc and use frame stacking. (even then you might crash) and the game is easier then ever. monsters have way less hp. Low rank gear is so useless you might aswell just craft whatever looks cool. and they ruined the whole palico system. the only thing i am sad about.

you used to train a whole group of palicos. training your started palico into your personal perfect sidekick which compliments your unique style! now you only can have 1 and you can't train it. THEY ARE OP. They will safe your life countless times. beat tf outta a monster. Get a bunch of extra materials. heal you to full hp any time you take damage. cleans your debuffs. do your laundry. take your kids to school. work a 9-17. take your wife to diner. and they would still have the energy to carf that rare 1% for you. :3

1 other thing i really dislike is the Costum weapons. They are way 2 strong. i never liked them in past games because i love the personality of a specific weapons. the look. the story behind you hunting the resources. and the fact that you could see what type of build was running depending on their weapon. Even tho i don't think they need to remove this. i would love to see layered weapons added to the game atleast. and maybe a lil nerf for the weapons 2.

Atm the game is lacking content. However we all know they are most likely almost gonna double the amount of monsters over the span of this year. So i don't personally care really. i can see myself spend another 100 hours in this game even without more content. so for me this is a solid 9/10 which will most likely turn into a 10 when they fix some issues and add content.

As a depressed autistic man who doesn't have much of a reason to keep going. I am glad i always have this series to look forwards to. It might sound like a joke but there have been points in my life where "only one more year till a new monster hunter" was the only thing keeping me going. And i honestly wouldn't wanna live in a world without monster hunter.
This was my very bias review.

All memes aside this game is everything we wanted from overwatch and more. 6v6 without role queue so you get human queue times. All heroes are free and unlocked from the start. 2 new heroes and maps per season. a fair (although a lil expensive) monetization with there always being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to earn through some challenges. And most importantly the gameplay feels great. The characters are incredible varied and have really high skill ceilings. The third person perspective is honestly perfect for something as fast and chaotic as a hero shooter.

My only complaint about the game is that you sometimes can queue for the same map 5 games in a row. Which gets boring quit fast. i also think they desperately need more maps (and more variations theme wise, instead of 3 Asgard maps)

I honestly didn't expect to be glazing a NetEase game but they actually made a free, fun and fair game?

Only thing i "dislike" is that the dynamic music can bug out pretty often making it so that you get intense music when you do nothing or hear nothing while fighting an army of enemies. besides that. It's honestly such an amazing unique game made by people who have love and passion for shooters and movement.

Honestly highest production quality coop horror game with little to no actual competition.
Highly recommend to any outlast fans that also have friends.

alot of fun. hope they make it less grindy to get characters tho. and they should enable being able to test characters you dont own in training ground.

My personal favorite souls-like as a non souls-like guy.
